My apologies, but Pottermania is upon us!
Jul. 16th, 2007 10:23 pmI’ve re-reading all the books – I possess about three copies of each, the hardcover, the paperback, and the original British version with words like ‘jumper’ and ‘colour’ in it – and underlining my favorite passages and lines (in the paperbacks, my dear readers! I don’t defile ANY literature!)
Due to this, and more rehearsals, and concerned relatives, I’m not getting much slash-time in. My Remus/Sirius stuff is blooming, but Mylar and Plaude and all my fics are mostly on hold. I’m still reading, but in concentrated periods, usually late at night (for me, for people in Japan I’m sure it’s a decent hour) and I’m really, really, REALLY sorry, but all those series I’m writing? Parts 6 and 2 and 4 and such might not come for a while. Next week, after fighting off a bout of Potter-Depression and Potter-Withdrawal, I shall turn to Heroes for consolations, but until then, more posts of mine is looking pretty unlikely.
On a side note, I’ve now seen a grand total of FOUR episodes of Doctor Who! A few things are making more and more sense, at least the episodes with CE in them …
I also figured out WHICH episodes I’ve seen! Here they are, in the order watched, and you may understand my confusion:
The Unquiet Dead
Utopia
World War Three
Dalek
‘Dalek’ was my favorite by far. (CE was so scary!) I probably would have liked ‘Utopia’ better if I wasn’t so confused about Jack and that hand in a jar and that old guy who was a Time Lord or whatever … but CE is funny in the other episodes, and he brought back memories of Claude, and … sooner or later BBC will have a marathon and I’ll figure it all out.
(Blast it! The theme song is stuck in my head! *gets Hedwig’s Theme stuck for raving Potter-fan purposes*)
