Ok, so I never really got around to writing a fic about the Haitian tying Mohinder up after he says 'There's always a Company' and perhaps smutting it up while Mohinder thinks about Sylar and fears for his memories. Eventually they realize they both know Noah, but still. Id like someone to write it. This is what I have:
“Ah, yes, there’s always a company,”
Mohinder froze. This man knew the people he pretended to work for … he had to get out of here right now.
Mohinder wasn’t really sure how the man who’d just been lying in bed, deathly ill, managed to tie him to the chair. But it happened very, very, very fast.
“It’ll take several hours for your ability to return,” Mohinder said quickly. “What do you plan on doing until then?”
The Haitian shrugged. “I will keep you tied up until I regain my powers. Then I’ll wipe your memory and get you back to NYC.”
Mohinder clenched his teeth. “How much of my memory?”
The Haitian shrugged. “Enough so that you’ll never remember me at least, but perhaps all of it …”
Mohinder’s blood ran cold. To loose everything … “You can’t! I … I’m not really with the Company, I’m working with them as a cover to help Noah Bennet bring them down. You have to believe me!”
The Haitian stiffened, then leaned forward over the desk. “If you are lying … once my powers have returned I will take all of your memory and throw you outside. You’ll be killed in less than an hour for your shoes.”
You can tweak it or not use it at all, but that' s the general idea. I just can't THINK ... and it kinda needs to be written before Monday night.Which brings us to ...
Clarification:
I am NOT celebrating Columbus Day. I am celebrating Leif Erikson Day. Or Discovery Day. Or Culture Day. Depends on how I'm feeling. Columbus discovered several islands in the Caribbean Sea, destroying several cultures in the process, kidnapping children (who he brought back to Spain) and paving the way for Cortez. He was also financed by Queen Isabella, who held mass burnings at the stake which she called 'Ethnic Cleansings.' So: NO COLUMBUS DAY. (But I am pleased for a day off.)
Notice:
I'm not doing a 'hilarious' screencap for 'Lizards' because I haven't the time and there wasn't much to go on. I think it'll all depend on the episode, but as SYLAR IS COMING BACK ON MONDAY!!! I'll probably do one for 'Kindred.'
Torchwood and Doctor Who:
I was able to watch 'Rise of the Cybermen' online (legally) and things make a LOT more sense now! If only they'd showed that BEFORE last week's Torchwood ep ... which I got to see again today, at three in the afternoon! *dances about* The more clips of Ianto I see the better!
