Date Night

Had a lovely date tonight. We got food, then raced over to Griffith Park.

Got lost, struggled to find parking, and fast walked up hills and through the woods to find the stage. Sweating, we got there just after the first scene.

It was a delightful show of Twelfth Night, which is my favorite. Lots of laughs and great costuming.

We cuddled and held hands and looked up at the stars during intermission. It's been ... way too long since I got to cuddle someone. It's been way too long since I held someone's hand. I didn't feel nervous or pressured or awkward. It just felt ... right. Comfortable. Good.

Asked if I could kiss her after the curtain call and we smooched. Still not a fan of kissing but I'm a fan of being close with her.

When my boyfriend does something I don't like (but like not a serious thing, like a silly thing like, saying he could turn into Agent Smith if this were the Matrix, or starting to sing "Let it Go") instead of jokingly threatening to break up with him, which is what I hear a lot of couples doing, I threaten "I will DIVORCE YOU!"

Because I want to say something dramatic and challenging, but in a way that doesn't make breaking up a legitimate threat for innocuous silly things.

This makes people laugh and him say "we're not married!" and I'm like "we are in teenage years!" which he assures me is not a thing.

Anyways. I just don't like the idea of threatening to break up with someone even in a joking manner. But I needed to say something.

We unpacked, went on a date-date, bought comic books, and watched tv.

We're gonna have to work real hard on not making every morning a "lazy Sunday morning." (See previously he'd mostly just stayed over on the weekends, so we had lazy Sunday mornings of cuddles and such. We can't have EVERY morning be that, we'd never get anything done.)

Things would be nicer if I wasn't still sick with a nasty cold and coughing at night. Other than that, things are pretty cool. The boxes are all gone from the kitchen and I vacuumed so much.

So today I got my very first internship. After much stress and prep and work and SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I AM SO HAPPY AND RELIEVED OMG OMG OMG

AND, my boyfriend got online and bought two tickets to the later showing of the Welcome to Night Vale 2nd Year Anniversary Live Show.

We're pretty close to the front, too. : DDDDDDDDD

So I'm going out on a proper date with my boyfriend to NYC and OMG what am I gonna wear as a cosplay.

And I have an internship. (That's tricky to fit with my class schedule arrrrgh, might have to switch that up, whatever, got time to play around with things.)

Internship and Night Vale tickets. YAY.

So not only is the universe conspiring against me via finals, end of year stress, and housing situations for next year, preventing me from trying to seduce a second boyfriend into my life, I contracted a cold last Friday and spent what could have been a fun Sunday evening watching Game of Thrones and cuddling with my boyfriend and subtly trying to cuddle with Potential Second Boyfriend ... into a pretty fun Sunday evening watching Game of Thrones and fistbumping my boyfriend and coughing in a corner on my own drinking honeyed hot water.

This triad relationship was not meant to be. D:

[Error: unknown template qotd]That all depends. I talk about general angst and daily life problems with my friends, slightly-embarrassing-yet-necessary issues with my mom or dad, the in-between stuff with my LJ friends, and gigantic 'problems' with a therapist. Thankfully I've only had two gigantic 'problems' in my life thus far. If I didn't have such a good relationship with my parents, I'd probably see a therapist more often.
