Summary: Two boys make first-contact, in a roundabout kind of way.

A/N: Ok, so, this is my attempt at Academy!Fic. I edited it as best I could. aimisan read it and loved it, so I hope you guys love it too. There’s a lot more on the way, but this seemed like a good place to start. The first meeting of Theta and Koschei will be posted all in good time, I assure you! (I dunno how old the gang is in this fic … twelve, maybe thirteen?)

I know a ‘whirligig’ is like a pinwheel, or a Medieval torture device, but in this it’s some kind of … insect I think. I plan on throwing out an art challenge later on …
