Yes, tomorrow morning I embark on a week-long trip that involves a lot of driving and tramping around to amazing museums. No, I won't tell you where I'm going, but it's going to be FUN goddamnit! (Unless I have my period, in which case, my fellow tripians won't be so happy.) I get home on Friday, but I probably won't be caught up on comments and fics and suchlike things until late Saturday evening.
c_quinn, have you any idea how many pages your (luverly) epic comes out to? I haven't a clue, but double-sided, 10.5 Times New Roman, with margins of .5, and people still yelled at me about all the paper I used up. But hey, I'm probalby only going to manage to pack one book (and ONE BAG *gets giddy look on face*) so I needed something to read and the first thing I thought of was 'I should print off To Dream and Wake Up to the Stars!'
I have no idea how many sheets of paper I used, but it's barely fits inside one of those cheap-ass folders you can buy at Staples for like, 5 cents during a sale and 75 on an average day, so ...
Anyhoodle, as I won't have access to a computer tomorrow night, I'm going to hold off on the Heroes. *grits teeth* This way, though, the wait for NEXT WEEK'S episode will be shorter for me, so ... *shrugs* First thing I'm doing once I get home on Friday night, after, perhaps, a shower (if there's one thing overnight trips have taught me, it's to love my very own shower), is to watch tomorrow's episode, type and post the recap, pand plead with the mod of heroes_meta to let me in late. THEN I reply to comments. It's not because I don't love you guys, but unwatched Heroes-episodes take presedance over a social life, food, and SLEEP, not nessesarily in that order, so you must forgive me.
Oh, and I got huggled a lot by first graders on Friday. Completely turned my day around.
While we're on the subject of me and my posting, why the hell isn't anyone reading this: http://aunt-zelda.livejournal.com/87001.html?! First time I write Hiro/Adam ... and suddenly you all vanish from the interwebs? Apparently it's good, guys, and you KNOW how much I love comments ... *bats eyes pleadingly*
So ... I'm packing tonight and trying to wrench myself away from the computer ...
Goodbye until Friday/Saturday!
Edit: tessykins, you evil woman. I just printed off ALL of Eclipse as well, double sided, 10.5, .5 margins, etc. At this rate, I won't even SEE the museums.
