(ARGH!) Help Please!!!

aunt_zeldaI've spent half the morning trying to download bitorrent or BiTorrent or however the hell you spell it and IT ISN'T WORKING! My previously steadfast ilegal site doesn't have the second half of episode 6, season 1 of Life on Mars, and it's driving me MAAAAAAAD!!! *tears out hair and such*
Could someone please provide me with the proper linky to bitorrent and give me a step-by-step directions as to how I might find and watch episode 6, season 1?
Or, if not, does anyone have useful linkies to an easier route to watching said episode?
It's so infuriating to have Sam handcuffed to a pipe, about to be shot/have his life support systems turned off, and have to jump into the next episode where everything's ok.

However, John Simm is lovely lovely lovely ♥, and he is what originally drew me to the show. Then I found out how awesome all the characters were, and the premise is just so interesting, and . . . I don't know. I really like it. It makes me think. It's less about the icky crime bits, and more about Sam's whole inner conflict. With the added bonus of a naked!handcuffed!scene. ♥ And Gene, who is awesomecakes, and Annie, who's quite nifty, and OMG Chris! <3 Adorable.
But mostly John Simm is way too awesome. XD

When I first started watching I was rather scared of him and sometimes confused him with what's-his-name, the other big bloke, the one with the facial hair, the jerk. I thought: "Who is this psycho man who keeps randomly beating up the Master? Is this normal police behavior?" Now I just love him to bits.

The best advice I could give you is to start downloading all the ones you see that match your query, because some of them will be faster than others and you won't know until you've started DLing. You can just delete the slowest ones then. That way you're not waiting weeks for it to arrive.
Also, when downloading a season of a tv show, there's a way to DL individual episodes. I would do that and one at a time, because that way you can at least get the first episode of the ones you want by the end of the day, instead of waiting a week for them ALL to DL.

Yeah, I'm beginning to watch the old stuff, not in the correct order, just different bits (they didn't really have serieses back then, they had story arcs, like three or so episodes for a story, then the next story would happen.) But make sure you like the show before you delve into 27 seasons of silly-looking special effects, dearie!

Date: 2008-04-24 12:19 am (UTC)Well, technically it's not REALLY phonesex, but later on, in last year's season, the Master and the Doctor have something that reminded me a hell of a lot of Mohinder and Sylar's phone conversations, but LONGER and the sentance "Are you asking me out on a date?!" is actually uttered onscreen.
It's also a totally canon pairing because 'beard' can mean two different things ... but you need to watch all the new episodes before we get talking about Doctor/Master ...
Although I just watched the second season again and I have to say no matter how much I love the actor, the character was still fucking annoying.
Yeah, what's with everyone hooking up in S2? Peter/Caitlin, Claire/West, Hiro/Yakeo, Sylar/Maya (UGH!) ... serioulsy, the only good thing about all of that was the Hiro/Kensadam pairing (which is totally canon because 'koi' in Japanese means 'carp' AND 'love') and the hotness that was the Mylar reunion.
I will not ask you to watch it as I know the feeling. I have so many shows to watch, it's ridiculous.
It's affecting my dreams ... any night now, I expect to dream up anime British detectives chasing demons-from-hell through space.
