That’s right, ladies and gentlemen, I’ve just finished Lost season 3.

 

My favorite quotes from the Season Finale:

 

Naomi: What did you do before you became Moses?

 

Rose: If you say live together, die alone to me, Jack, I'm going to punch you in the face.

 

Sawyer: So you pulled us out of those polar bear cages and put us on the chain gang, so what the hell did you have us breaking all those rocks for?

Juliet: For a runway.

Sawyer: For what?

Juliet: *smiles brightly* Aliens!

 

Sawyer: So … you screwing Jack yet?

Juliet: No. Are you?

 

Instead of a very long rant, I’ll give ya five of my thoughts as it is rather late:

 

1) The Others are just one big slashy fun fest! Richard, Tom, Ben, and Locke were/are SO hooking up with each other and doing it offscreen! I giggled about Ben/Locke FAR too much in the last few episodes. Seriously: MAGIC BOX FTW!

2) WTF was up with that bizarro flash-forward?! HOW THE HELL IS JACK’S DADDY ALIVE?! WHO DIED AND DIDN’T HAVE ANYBODY COME TO THEIR FUNERAL?! WHO’S KATE MARRIED TO?! WHERE’S THAT FOUR-TOED STATUE?! I’m about ready to hit J.J. Abrams on the head with that thing they used in Shawn of the Dead!

3) Hurley driving his Magical Bus into the Others was the bestest thing EVA!

4) I DESPISE love-squares. The Sawyer/Kate/Jack/Juliet thing had better GO AWAY PLEASE GOD next season!

5) Charlie dying (?) didn’t choke me up at all. I loved his ‘five greatest hits’ but Desmond soaked it when he jumped into the ocean so Claire’s never gonna be able to read it! *kicks Charlie for not putting something so special and sob-worthy in a plastic baggie*

 

In conclusion: things made WAY more sense when there were polar bears running about.

i actually just finished watching Lost S3 as well and it was just brilliant wasn't it..... a bit maddening, but still pretty awesome..

I don't thinks he's alive, I just think Jack was using his dad's prescription slips to get himself medication....

the casket was pretty small so I think it might have been Ben.... and of course Jack would be the only one to go to the funeral, because he's still trying to get back to the island....

but wouldn't it be crazy if she got back together with Kevin the police officer from Florida?

I loved the flash forward because it totally took you by surprise.
Not me, sadly, because over the summer (when I was still watching season 2) people at theater were all 'Season 3 is the best season eva!' and 'the Others are the good guys!' and 'flash-forward!' and such ...
