Please don't worry about following any particular prompt I have here. I know how anxiety-inducing it can be to get an assignment and have no prompts or idea of what the person likes at all, so I wanted to provide some. If you get a completely different idea, go right ahead, I look forward to whatever you write for this.

I don't know when exactly I found out about this series, but the dynamic between Alex and Yassen - brief though it is in the books - has been stuck with me ever since. Something about Yassen's past with both Alex's father and uncle, and then his complicated feelings with Alex in front of him. Something about Alex coming of age in deeply traumatic circumstances, first fearing and hating Yassen and then being baffled as Yassen continually spares him or even protects him. There's that "character coming of age is fascinated by and also scared of a dangerous but seductive older character" classic set up. Plus, spy vs spy shenanigans, those are always fun. Betrayals, undercover roles, secrets, there's a lot to work with here.

What an immensely sexy book, the powerplays, the strategies, Irene holding the power of life and death over men who'd willingly die for her, Eugenides toying with Costis ... I love this book. Anyways, Costis spends the majority of the book sleep-deprived, hungry, and fearing for his life. Why not add some highly dubious consent on top of that? Either at the hands of just his king, or Irene too. Could be some personal punishment taking place out of sight, or the monarch(s) thinking they have every right to call upon the handsome young guard if they so desire, or a reward for loyalty, or any number of scenarios. Would love for Costis to be torn between genuine desire and also very aware that refusal is unthinkable/risks death.

I am so very taken by these two. They care so deeply about each other but can't say it, and both have struggles with physical affection for various reasons. I really really want to see what happens if they're forced together before they're ready by some external force, and have to deal with the fallout afterwards.
I've got a thing for the first time for a couple being stolen/ruined in some way. Like they both care deeply for each other, but they haven't hooked up yet, and then some external force ... forces them. Maybe Kaz is being punished for overstepping territory. Maybe the bad guys don't know/care who they are, just want to see two pretty people put on a show. Maybe this is part of what it takes to transfer Inej's contract to Kaz.

I was trying to work this out and came up with "the 70s horror appeal of an abused woman lashing back at her abusive boss and raping him at knifepoint but like he enjoys it too much and it's really weird." If that makes sense to you, great! If not, don't worry, I have more words:
I want Melanie to have her vengeance. I want her to get back at him. I'm real mad she wasn't there to see him arrested. I'm real mad she didn't get to stab him. I feel like Elias enjoys women hurting him way too much, maybe play that out a bit? Maybe they have a messed up, dark, deeply unhealthy relationship while she protects the Institute and he tries to steer into more of a Slaughter Soldier type. Maybe he can compel statements about her sex life and kinks, either to humiliate her or turn her on or enrage her. Maybe she has just enough Eye powers to turn that back on him for a change and drag out all the disgusting things he thinks about all day. Love the idea of her making him suck her fingers, her boot, her knife, anything to stop his lying tongue. Also remember for all his posturing, Elias snapped and beat a man to death with a pipe and called it an "overreaction" he's got violent rage going on too. You could really lean on the corporate horror of all this, the paperwork, contracts, reviews, disciplinary measures, etc.
My super self indulgent concept: Melanie pins him down with a knife and fucks him in his office chair. And she's not fussed about him getting hurt in the process.

I would love to read more about them, especially if they're suddenly exposed to some artifact or sex pollen and then deal with the fact that welp that just happened. Or an AU where Agnes is still lurking around and feels herself drawn to Jon now that he's the Archivist? Will she help burn down the Archives, or will she need convincing? Feel free to lean WAY into the dark religious implications of Agnes especially if you're comfortable with that.

I would like to read about terrible things happening to Naomi in the context of the Lonely. Maybe they take her after all. Maybe the family punishes her, or her and Evan together, for trying to leave. Maybe they're kept in comfort but still prisoners in a mansion surrounded by fog for such a long time they start to forget all their lives before this place. Maybe Evan starts to give in but Naomi refuses to be broken by this ordeal.
My big dream for this is Peter taking Naomi away to some Lonely mansion and doing awful things to her, and her finally gaining the upper hand and dispatching him. Whether that frees her from the Lonely's influence, or just cements her place as part of the Lukas clan is up to you.

These two are just ... such good flavors together y'know. Dangerous men who are so sure of themselves and so wonderful when they interact together, able to fall into this rhythm so quickly. A lot of potential here for things unspoken, unsaid, and repressed, or rare moments of vulnerability.
I really like the idea of them pining for each other and then something (or some bad guys) robbing them of their first time in a way. Maybe some space drugs get smashed nearby? Maybe some bad guys hold them at gunpoint and force a show? Maybe Din is undercover and has to pretend to be pleased with a captive Cobb being made a "gift" to him? Maybe sex pollen? A classic scenario is Cobb getting re-enslaved or captured and Din rescuing him, but not before having to abuse Cobb in front of witnesses. Also down for an AU where they met under different circumstances.

Cassian was ready to die at the end of S1, delivered himself to Luthen to get it over with one way or the other. That kind of desperation and exhaustion has a lot of potential.

Like they both care deeply for each other, but they haven't hooked up yet, and then some external force ... forces them. Maybe Kaz is being punished for overstepping territory. I want Melanie to have her vengeance. I want her to get back at him. I'm real mad she wasn't there to see him arrested. I'm real mad she didn't get to stab him. I feel like Elias enjoys women hurting him way too much, maybe play that out a bit? Maybe they have a messed up, dark, deeply unhealthy relationship while she protects the Institute and he tries to steer into more of a Slaughter Soldier type. Maybe he can compel statements about her sex life and kinks, either to humiliate her or turn her on or enrage her. Maybe she has just enough Eye powers to turn that back on him for a change and drag out all the disgusting things he thinks about all day. Love the idea of her making him suck her fingers, her boot, her knife, anything to stop his lying tongue. Maybe Evan starts to give in but Naomi refuses to be broken by this ordeal.
My big dream for this is Peter taking Naomi away to some Lonely mansion and doing awful things to her, and her finally gaining the upper hand and dispatching him. Whether that frees her from the Lonely's influence, or just cements her place as part of the Lukas clan is up to you.

These two are just ... such good flavors together y'know. Dangerous men who are so sure of themselves and so wonderful when they interact together, able to fall into this rhythm so quickly. A lot of potential here for things unspoken, unsaid, and repressed, or rare moments of vulnerability.
I really like the idea of them pining for each other and then something (or some bad guys) robbing them of their first time in a way. Maybe some space drugs get smashed nearby? Maybe some bad guys hold them at gunpoint and force a show? Maybe Din is undercover and has to pretend to be pleased with a captive Cobb being made a "gift" to him? Maybe sex pollen? A classic scenario is Cobb getting re-enslaved or captured and Din rescuing him, but not before having to abuse Cobb in front of witnesses. Also down for an AU where they met under different circumstances.
