AUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOOOOOOOOOOO NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Is it just me, or is one of the writers totally using this show to bring their Mark/Eduardo fanfiction to life? First Nolan the quirky CEO and socially awkward genius kissing his business-savvy dark-haired CFO Padma, then Nolan in the flashback this week kissing his business-savvy dark-haried CFO Marco and then them breaking up and Marco leaving the company. And the final scene of the episode is Marco getting a call from Daniel about getting back against Nolan's company.

I'm dead serious. This is kind of amazing. Why do I feel like I'm the only person watching this show right now? Granted it's cheesy at times, a bit soap-opera-esque, but it's not a BAD show, and it's got complex female characters who don't fall into the "Strong Female Character Rawr" or "useless chick" categories constantly. Also, canon bisexuals who aren't solely defined by their sexuality, but by having like, goals and character growth and stuff.

I feel like Victoria's backstory was a bit over the top and hamhanded, but hey, a lot to cram into a 40-minute episode that's also devoted to lots of other flashbacks, like explaining why that Skeevy Guy and his Skeevier Brother want to mess up Jack's life and bar (the answer is "Your Father Killed Our Father, Prepare to Be Financially Ruined Muahaha"), or how Emily and Aidan met (an Alias episode), and what Nolan was doing six years ago (being adorable and then heartbroken by Eduardo Saverin "Marco"), and how Daniel wanted to be a poet (because we were totally wondering about that ...?)

So ... yeah. I'm freaking out about the mid-season finale next week. NEXT WEEK?! Then I'll have to wait so long for more Revenge ... auuuuuuuugh!
