I can't stop crying and yelping "oh my god oh my god oh my god!" That ending, people ... it makes up for all the stupid love-triangle bullshit. (Which, seriously, WE HAVE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS RIGHT NOW, CHILDREN, LIKE TERRORISM! STOP WITH THE STUPID LOVE-TRIANGLE BULLSHIT ALREADY! HAVE A THREESOME OR FIND NEW PEOPLE TO DATE!)

"We're here about a spider-rat problem."

… AUUUUUUUUUGHGGGGGHHGH! I'VE CHANGED MY MIND, I DON'T WANT TO LIVE IN THE FOUR NATIONS UNIVERSE ANYMORE!!!

I love that counsel-secretary-guy. He's great. At least, I think he's a guy, his voice actor is confusing me.

Wow, that's … really terrifying. Take out the city counsel and then set off a lot of bombs and have secret agents as city workers … and then airships … oh god! HOW IS THIS A KID'S SHOW AGAIN?!

NO NO NO NO NOT HIS FAMILY NO NO NO NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Oh FUCK YEAH! YAAAAAAAY! I've missed seeing little kids airbending and flying on gliders. 

~gets teary-eyed over the baby and the kids greeting him~ Auuuuuuuuuuwwwww!

Oh, right, Patience, otherwise known as Korra's dump stat. 

~cries again as Lin sacrifices herself to save Tenzin and his family, and takes down an airship with little regard for her own life, and gets captured~ 

"That lady is my hero." Yes, yes she is, Meelo. She's my hero too. 

And then … then we get the most tragic horrifying scene yet. Lin has her bending taken away in the rain with tense music and she's on her knees and tied up and falls over like she's been shot and if this weren't a "kid's show" she probably WOULD have been shot and OH MY GOD THE TEARS THEY ARE NOT STOPPING … 

Wait wait wait what's this?! ZUKO?!?!?!?!? NO WAIT ARE YOU ZUKO'S SON!?!??!?!?! OR ARE YOU ZUKO!?!?!?!?!? OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVED THIS EPISODE. Not only did Mako get the smack-down he so richly deserved, Lin and the Airbending Babies were so badass and amazing. And so was Asami!

Lin was the best in this episode. Man, I was so pissed on her behalf when Pema shoved Meelo into her arms and told her to go bathe him. How petty was that? Yeah, she's your husband's ex, but YOU are the one who married him and had kids, and she is there to PROTECT YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN and you're going to treat her like that? Ugh, I just really don't like Pema.

No, that's not Zuko. Zuko's, like, 80 years old. It's the same voice actor, though. He's Zuko's grandson, probably, or maybe his youngest son or something. Considering that he's named after Iroh and was wearign the Fire Nation's royal collar...

Indeed! Mako getting the smack-down is always good! (Seriously, I loathed the character in the early episodes, and was the only person in my group of friends at college who did. He got better as the episodes continued, but he still bugs me more often than not. The way he's treating Asami and getting all close to Korra is so not cool.)

Yeah, that was kinda weird and uncalled for. I think it was more to have a "funny" scene between Meelo and Lin rather than to set up tension between Pema and Lin, but the way it played out made it seem more like Pema was feeling needlessly threatened by Lin. I've always liked Pema up until that scene, which really threw me for a loop.
Oh well, Lin ruled this episode and I cried so much for her. OH GOD I HOPE THERE'S A WAY TO BRING PEOPLE'S BENDING BACK OH GOD *cries*

Yeah, I just got wicked excited, hearing his voice and all. Then I realized that wait, his voice actor said he'd be voicing one of Zuko's relatives or something, so then it all clicked.
I'm so excited. Dude was hot and is gonna kick some major ass! Now there's a guy worthy of Korra's romantic attention! Whoops, what did I just say?

Yes! And not to mention kissing Korra when he knew that Bolin liked her. Dude, He's your BRO. (Though to be a LITTLE fair, it WAS Korra that kissed him and not the other way around).

Well, I guess it would be a little weird to walk outside and see your husband having a hushed, intense conversation with the Ex you stole him from, but still. Way harsh, Pema.

I liked Pema up until it was revealed that she confessed her love to Tenzin while he was still with Lin because he was wasting his life with the "Wrong Woman" :/ After that, I just couldn't like her.

I've seen the theory that Amon's not actually taking away bending, he's blocking the...sixth? Chakra. The one that is blocked by illusion. The Guru talks to Aang about it. And the chakra placement seems right. So that + regular Chi Blocking might fuck shit up and convince people that he'd really taken away their bending for good, and because they were convinced of that they can't break through the block.

It was weird, because the voice seemed just a bit too young to be coming out of Iroh II, but I'm excited to see more of him.

Now there's a guy worthy of Korra's romantic attention!

I could get behind that. Or Iroh II/Asami, that'd be a good looking couple. As long as Mako winds up Forever Alone.
