Suburban Knights DVD
Sep. 29th, 2011 12:30 pmYesterday I got the Suburban Knights DVD, stuffed into the bag of food and stuff that my mom sent with my dad the other day. (I have enough cereal to feed an army, good god, she needs to stop sending cereal.)
Know what's awesome? Getting the Suburban Knights DVD and seeing the little address that reads "Michael Michaud", Channel Awesome INC" on the envelope. That's just so cool.
Know what's even awesomer? Seeing that I got one of the select few special special editions signed by Rob and Doug. SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!1111!!!!!!!!!!!!11!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!
*grins and squeaks with delight for the rest of the week* This was SO worth the extra money for a chance to win a copy with their signatures! SO WORTH IT! *dances*
Know what's awesomest? Watching some of the special features with new friends in the college common room and promising to watch the commentaries this weekend when we aren't out killing zombies.
Know what's priceless? This, from the bloopers:
Bennett: (pointing to Linkara sheltering Mickey with his cloak) Get a shot of this, this is fanfiction in the making.
Linkara: Oh yeah baby, oh yeah.
Mickey: You want some of this.
Linkara: Oh yeah, you Treehousians, you write that fanfiction ...
Bennett: (glaring at the camera) I expect 2,000 words within the week this goes up. If I don't see it, you have FAILED!
You probably heard the noise of glee I made at hearing the word "Treehousians." And then I squeaked with fear because Bennett brought back that terror I felt at the age of 16 when it was just three of us writing TGWTG fanfic and Bennett STILL terrifies me.
Can't wait to listen to all of the commentaries and laugh with my new friends and squee some more. But I have lots of homework to accomplish.

Date: 2011-10-01 02:23 pm (UTC)Fun fact: I found this fandom because SOMEONE *coughLewiscough* was tweeting "Oh but I kid my fans and their erotic fanfiction" with no context.

Date: 2011-09-29 04:38 pm (UTC)Rob: Maybe Doug should take off his pants more often.
Bargo: If only.
Rob: Most people, they should put their pants back on. Doug should take 'em off.
But I had to "aww, poor baby" at Doug getting so depressed by the filming that he spent an entire day in bed and him saying the skirt caused him so much pain that the joke/fanservice wasn't worth it.

WOW. WOW. WOW. *still in shock*

*feels horribly sad now* Auuuuuuuuuuuuw! I wish I could give him a big hug and not come off like a creepy fangirl.
Spent the whole day depressed in bed? That's awful ...
Well, now I feel kinda bad about taking such joy in the skirt stuff. It's so wonderful ... but it was causing him such distress ... argh, my morality and my libido are having a fight! *headdesk*

Date: 2011-10-01 06:23 am (UTC)To be honest I was so busy that I forgot that I got the "is possible it gets signed" version, so when I got it and open it, my first reaction was "What are those silver lines?" yep, silly me didn't get it until about 5 minutes later >.>U

Date: 2011-10-01 06:12 am (UTC)(If I don't, other people will. The stuff about Doug taking off his pants is already circulating around.)
I basically made a :D face when I saw this post, though. "EXCITED!!!" and gleeful is always a good place to be, no?
Awwwww, thanks, I'm glad I could make you smile!
