It's a miracle we get anything done in my East Asian History Class. We mostly do independent research and read when we aren't riffing documentaries. Lots of laughter, tangent-ridden conversations, and "that's what she said" joking abounds. Today was especially good/bad. One girl says "baboon" really, really hilariously and kept talking about baboons and we all laughed hysterically (I had tears coming out of my eyes) and I moved across the room to try and calm down, and my boyperson started laughing like he was about to transform into Doctor Insano (it was ... amazing) and I came over and waved a magazine in front of his face to give him some air to calm him down. Then I went back to reading The Art of War and taking notes on the Five Virtues that Must Be Known to Every General, lest he FAIL.

Today was AWESOME.

It is. It really is. Today's morning break featured me, three other girls, and my boyperson singing "I'll Make A Man Out of You" from Mulan and "Time Warp" from ... well, yeah ... while another girl played the music on her acoustic guitar. AWESOMESAUCE.

XD

I wish stuff like that would happen at my school. Although we did get to read H.P. Lovecraft -- some story about a guy who lives below another guy who plays the violin, or something -- and let's say I got a lot of mileage out of it. Especially reading it in C-3PO's voice. I could have sworn some of my classmates were in hysterics. XD

And let's say considering most of the stress of the day, this was especially warranted. :)

It really was. :) Plus, considering I was nearing psychological breakdown with trying to rewrite AIRBENDER, it definitely helped get some laughs.

What kinds? (Sorry if it sounds like I'm prying; I'm just a bit curious. :)

Oh right, those are my f-locked entries ... just, I've been having to grapple with stress (which I've never been that good at dealing with because I've never had much stress, and my parents are awful at dealing with stress) so while I got through the fall pretty well now it's spring and this'll be even harder and I hope I can do this, no I KNOW I can do this ...
*sighs*

What the hell ... *friends you* I'd appreciate it if you kept the stuff to yourself, though, especially my age (not that it matters really but for now it does to me ...)

Don't worry, I will. :)

(Sorry if I...bothered you with the questions, BTW.)

No, you didn't bother me, I like to chat to people about all manner of things. It was a little overwhelming at first but now I'm fine.
