Haven't got much time for a review, so I'll just put down my favorite 'auuuuuuuuuw!' moment:
Nobby going to the Mall Hogfather and getting a present. I dunno about you guys, but that hit me in the 'kid who never got what they wanted for Christmas' spot. I mean, I never had a traumatic or overly-disapointing Christmas, but something about that scene really hit home. It's just ... Nobby, y'know? For a weird little bastard who went to war just so he could STEAL, he sure gets a lot of Crowning Moments of Awesome/Heartwarming/Funny, doesn't he?
(Note: Death being all kinds of badass and heartwarming and introspective and Albert being snarky came in a close second, especially the scene where Death saves the Little Match Girl and Albert chucks snowballs at the angels.)
Also, HUZZAH for the homeless guys caterwauling and clanging things and getting a proper Hogswatch dinner! *SQUEE*
I loved this book. I saw the movie a long time ago, before I knew what Discworld was, so I knew about some of the endings. I eagerly await Christmas, so I can watch the movie with friends and laugh at their confusion!

Yes, I LOVED the mythology bits. I'm such a sucker for that kind of stuff.
