Kensai University (Part 2)
Aug. 9th, 2007 02:54 pmTitle:
Rating: R. Yes, I think so …
Pairings: Plaude. Sylar likes Mohinder a lot, Mohinder’s not so sure …
Warnings: If you haven’t watched all of Season 1 of Heroes, you shouldn’t be here, you should wait and watch the DVDs!
Disclaimer: Uh … obviously I don’t own Heroes, because if I did, I’d have Mylar and Plaude making out on screen instead of in slash fics or my twisted mind …
Recap If You’re Lazy And Won’t Follow My Lovely Links: The Heroes cast are attending
Summary: Some Plaude, the week, the party, Brody Mitchell and Claire.
My Thoughts: Thanks to indyhat for the inspiration at three-thirty in the morning. Sorry it took so long!
“Yo, dudes! Let us in, that’s our room!” an angry male voice yelled, pounding on the door.
“Unless ya want to partake in male gay sex, I suggest ya sod off!” Claude roared back.
Silence. Two pairs of feet tramped away.
The emo giggled. Claude turned back to him and ruffled his out-of-control hair. “Just realized I don’t know yer name,” Claude kissed the emo’s forehead.
“Peter,” the emo whispered, eyelids drooping dramatically.
“Well, Peter, I’m Claude,” Claude’s lips trailed down and locked with Peter’s. “An’ hopefully, we’ll be seein’ a lot of each other from now on,”
They kissed for several minutes, toppling to the side and slamming into the window. Claude’s eyes snapped open, and he broke away from Peter.
“Well, would ya look at that!” Claude peered out the window.
“What?” Peter asked, squinting in the semi-darkness.
“Some guy’s freezing the fountain with his hands!” Claude exclaimed. “And now he’s … skating on it!”
There was a pause.
Claude turned to Peter. “What exactly did they spike those drinks with?” he wondered aloud.
Peter shrugged. “I dunno, but I like it!” he rushed forward, lips writhing against Claude’s once more.
Claude forgot all about the guy and the fountain.
I wonder what else that stuff’ll make me see …
~*~
Sylar didn’t know why he pulled a move from an X-Men movie: it’s tacky, and he detests the franchise.
First contact …you proposed a date and wowed him with your mad skills … Sylar smiled to himself in his empty dorm room: illuminated only by an orange lava lamp he’d found in the closet when he’d moved in.
He wondered what Mohinder would look like in this dorm, the lava lamp the only light … would it ricochet off his skin, or snuggle up beside it like a blanket?
Sylar closed his eyes and lets his mind and hand wander, fantasizing about Mohinder.
~*~
A week should be a short amount of time, right? Seven days, half of which will be spent sleeping, most of the other half is class time, so logically next week should arrive quickly.
Not so.
Sylar zoned out in one of his classes and ended up doodling a picture of him and Mohinder … well, after asking permission, the slash-author who sat behind him snapped a picture with her phone, if that gave you any idea.
Sylar preoccupied himself with counting the hours until he would see Mohinder again.
~*~
By the time Sylar arrived at Brody Mitchell’s party, there was already someone running around with a lampshade on their head.
That didn’t seem to bode well, but at least the frat boys seem to have gotten a bit more control over their swords – the intricate performances are not accompanied by a boy or two who had looks of terror and confusion on their faces. The Sanders Sorority was very predominate, but not as much as last week.
Though he was dying with the realization that he was this close to seeing Mohinder again, Sylar took his time looking for him. He didn’t want to seem too eager.
“Hey,”
Sylar turned around and wanted to outdo the sun with a blinding grin – but he settled for a faint, casual smile.
Mohinder was standing in front of him, holding a cup.
Sylar eyed it warily. “Are you going to try to splash me again? ’Cause freezing stuff gets old,”
Mohinder raises his eyebrows. “Cyrokinesis, telekinesis, you’re quite the kenetic guy,” a twitch of a smile.
Sylar smirks. “I can do a lot more than that,” he touched a metal knick-knack on a nearby shelf and melted it into a pool of gray.
Mohinder started slightly. Sylar held back a grin – it was so easy to wow people.
“Hey! Some guy’s trying to rape a girl out there!” someone yelled.
The music switched off abruptly. Everyone – well, everyone who was sober enough – raced for the windows.
“I’m calling the police!” a Pledge-Master announced as they watched a small blond girl fight off a burly guy.
“It’s Brody Mitchell!” someone gasped.
A few of the larger frat boys had raced outside and grabbed Brody, one giving him a good kick.
The party quickly disbanded as sirens wailed.
Dammit, Sylar thought to himself as the tearful blond girl was comforted by several of her fellow Sorority members. He felt bad for the girl – Claire, he heard her name was – but some drunk idiot had ruined his meeting with Mohinder! He’d been looking forward to this all week!
Next time, there won’t be any police-worthy events, he promised himself. “Uh, see you around,” he waved to Mohinder, who nodded back.
Dammit, dammit, dammit.

Date: 2007-08-09 08:37 pm (UTC)Yes. Ages ago, you said 'and you KNOW someone's going to end up with a lampshade on their head' so that's where I got the premise for Brody Mitchell's party.
(I just remembered those Lampshade creatures from a poem a 'friend' of mine liked to torment me with. *hides under the bed*)

That bit about the slash author, god yes. I think that'd be every one of us if someone was doodling a picture of two guys..Especially Sylar and Mohinder, yum. lol. And you know, that made me realize, I am a slash author. Of course, not as good as you and most everyone else whose had more experience, but it just like..hit me with that line. O.o I'm looking forward to more! Indyhat had better give you a lot of inspiration..^_^ Oh, wow, that sounded sort of dirty, sorry! And sorry this is so long, I'm a bit hyper right now..

Yes, you do know weird people! It kind of comes with the Mylar territory, though..Maybe that's why I feel so at home here.

Date: 2007-08-10 03:29 pm (UTC)Well now you're just trying to flatter. ;)
I enjoyed it: my interest in Mylar has dimmed a little over the months but I like them in this AU.

Really? I like Mylar a lot - all these different possibilities and scopes. Plaude is lovely, but Mylar is what got me started on slash ...
They're rather cute in this, aren't they? Plaude was my favorite bit in this, though. So adorable ...

Date: 2007-08-10 01:16 am (UTC)Don't know why, but for some reason, at one time or another, I imagined Sylar, Mohinder and everyone else as chibi characters. Weird, eh? LOL
Anyway, really enjoyed it and can't wait for the next part!! :)
And, hey, your links work!! :D

Date: 2007-08-10 11:28 am (UTC)Oh, I wish I could do it, but I haven't the faintest clue how to go about it.
When you release the next part, maybe you could ask (in author's note or something) if there's anyone who'd do it?? Seriously, I'd LOVE to see some chibi fanart based on this fic! It'd be the cutest thing ever! :D
