Help!

Once again, my LJ message box has become swamped with stuff. Like, 120 pages of stuff. 1,972 messages. As I reply to comments via getting the links in my e-mail, I never delete the notifications from my LJ message box. Is there a quick and easy way to delete all the 'so and so left this comment: blah blah blah blah' WITHOUT clearing all the PMs out as well, or do I just have to do it manually, page by page?

The inbox is divided up into sections, which includes "Entries and Comments". Just click on that folder and click Delete All, which should delete entries and comments without deleting the PMs.

LOL, I know what you mean. LJ has been acting up for the past few days, so I hope the system gets fixed soon.

As for deleting comments only, I suggest going to your inbox, clicking the "Entries & Comments" folder, and then hitting "Delete all". I did that and none of my PMs got deleted. Hope that helps!

Oh, thank god it isn't just me! I've just noticed that I haven't been getting consistent e-mail notifications of people replying to my comments for the past couple of days. So I've been poking around trying to figure out if my e-mail address is wrong (it isn't) my inbox is full (it's not) and if livejournal changed their e-mail address and my e-mail was junking the messages (again: no.)

Ooh, thanks for that link! It's good to know what's going on, even though they said the notifications are still backed up. I'm just now getting bucketloads of e-mail notifications for the snowflake cookie gifts and some comments, so you definitely weren't alone. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that this will get fixed quickly, heh.
