Yeah, you're famous, but you've got the paparazzi following you every step of the way, waiting for you to do something outrageous or stupid. Robert Pattinson doesn't deserve the hordes of crazed fangirls asking him to bite them, he seems to be a decent, funny, sane guy. However, some people lend themselves a bit to overexposure and pay with appearing in the tabloids all the time.
Still, in the end it's us, the 'normal' people, who decide how much these people get hounded. WE buy the crappy magazines speculating about whether so-and-so is pregnant, how much weight so-and-so has lost, and which celebrity was drunk driving last weekend. Kinda pathetic, if you ask me. I go through enough of that drama with my own friends and family, thank you very much. In the end, I don't want to know that much about the personal lives of actors and singers. It's nice if I hear that someone got married or had a cute baby or something, but constant trash about relationship issues and anorexia and drug abuse is just depressing and awful.

... yeah. Once a LITTLE GIRL asked him to bite him. Like, seven years old. The reporters he told laughed it off as 'oh, her mom must have put her up to that' but he said "... no."

*jawdrop* Some people should just not be allowed to be parents. Seriously. I know that makes me sound Fascist, but ... WOW. There oughta be some kind of test or something to make sure these sorts of things don't happen ...

Yeah, Twilight is ... YEESH. I duck my head and talk about how much I want Alice., Jasper, and Carlisle. Those three are really the only reason I kept reading the books.
