Title: A Parody Of Love (Part 3/?)

Disclaimer: Uh … obviously I don’t own Heroes, because if I did, I’d have Plaude making out on screen instead of in slash fics or my twisted mind …

Recap If You’re Lazy And Won’t Follow My Lovely Links: Peter's a hooker. Claude's was a customer who thought it was a one-time deal, then couldn’t get the bishounen out of his head and went back for more. ‘More’ was rough and frenzied, because he wanted to get Peter out of his head. Turns out, that didn’t work out either.

My Thoughts: Dedicated to indyhat for the helpful tips. Nathan comes in the next part … Also, I’m really sorry that it’s wicked short, but this is what you get until next week. I’ll be missing from cyber-land until Sunday night, I’m afraid, and as my laptop is still busted and I’m still broke … sorry! Comments would be lovely, I’ll answer them when I get back …

 

 

Claude can’t stop returning. No matter what he does or what he tells himself, memories of Peter always beckon him back.

As the weeks go by, the sessions are less and less violent. Claude keeps telling himself that this is the last time, this is the last time his lips with meet with Peter’s, this is the last time they’ll touch …

But it’s a lie. He’s completely addicted to Peter, he lives off of the boy.

“He’s already upstairs,” the manager says, pocketing Claude’s money. “Third door on the right.”

Claude flees the barroom gratefully: he can’t stand the smell of cigarette smoke and unclean sweat.

He knocks even though he knows it’s unnecessary; the rules here are different from anywhere else.

“Come in,”

Peter smiles as Claude enters, but it’s a different smile than before. This smile is so unguarded, so pure, so genuine, that Claude nearly staggers. It’s a smile that would be given by a child or a lover or a spouse: undiluted sweetness.

Claude gives his usual faint grin some encouragement.

“You’re in a good mood,” Peter observes rising from the bed and slowly approaching him. “Nice day?”

Claude shrugs. “No better than others,” he reaches out and strokes Peter’s cheek. “Seeing you is the highlight of my day.”

Peter blushes. “You flatter,” he places a hand over Claude’s. “I’m just a whore,”

“Bull,” Claude whispers, grasping his free hand and kissing it. “You’re Peter.”

Peter keeps smiling that genuine smile after that.

There are more soft touches and light kisses, gradually building up to what they once rushed into wildly.   

Once, following a harsh, suspicious voice inside his head, Claude sneaks – invisible, of course – into the room to see if Peter gives that smile to anyone else. It takes all of his willpower not to kill the man Peter is fucked by. This is no graceful act of true devotion, it’s brutal and anonymous. Even the second time that Claude came to Peter, the wild, almost angry, time, with the wall-shoving and rough act, was not as horrible as the scene before him. Peter does not smile during this, and the next three customers are just the same – not as horrible as the first, but Peter does not give that special smile. Claude leaves feeling nauseated but satisfied.

Just me …only me …

That means something.

Oh, nice description of jealousy. And yeah, I guess that's exactly what you would do if you were invisible, infatuated, and jealous!
Thanks! And yeah, invisible jealous infatuated people are odd like that ...

Really liked this, even though it was short. Can't wait for next installment! :)
Coming this week ... eventually ... gotta get caught up after the trip ...
