The relations I visited were a mixture of lovely and well-meaning-but-annoying. Family troubles are hiding under the light chatter, and I felt horrible when Doctor Who was replaced with a Hex marathon yesterday night. Yes, I like Hex, but my relations checked in to see what I was watching when Malachi and some skank were in bed together under some artful folds of black cloth, so the evening went kinda downhill from there.
But there was food to satisfy my vegetarian needs and the couch was comfy, and there were fight workshops today at theater and that was FUN. (I miss broadswords ... rapiers are fun, but broadswords kick ass ...) and I learned that the first move in the Bushido style is an attack (the way the sword is worn) and in European style the first move is a defensive one. Interesting ... reminded me of Hiro, and I thought about Heroes again.
