Lazy, Busy Me
Jun. 16th, 2007 09:50 amOk, so, I haven't had time to go online since Wednesday (long story, involving Beach Day, saving my best friend from hypothermia, watching too much 'Lost,' sorting through two GIGANTIC bags of books, finishing that literary magazine and handing it out, and getting a manga book finally - Godchild 2, by Kaori Yuki.) But I'm here now, and soon I'll be posting more Mylar (and possibly Plaude) fics! Be patient with me! Now I have more time!
(Here's some stuff I wrote yesterday, when I couldn't go online (technical difficulties):
Yesterday I helped save my best friend from hypothermia – she swam in the ocean, in June, ’nuff said.
Today I purchased a manga book and ended up having a long discussion in the politics isle. Apparently I should run for Congress … interesting …
My dad explained Hamas and Fatah to me, and all the stuff on the radio makes sense now. Well, I know what’s going on, but not why. Most of this actually traces back to the Crusades, and then WWII and cutting up land and buying land and land land land land land! Also, Hamas and Fatah are mostly to do with egos.
Also, why is everyone so concerned with Israel? Apparently it’s all desert. So why is are so many people fighting over Israel? It doesn’t even sound like a nice place to live in!
I think that if my dad could explain all these complex world issues to me, maybe he could explain them to everyone else. Then, maybe people would start making sense! I see no problem with this plan …
Yeah, I was sleepy and confused and just wanted to read 'Godchild 2' (which, btw, is PHENOMONAL. Butterflies! And there's a chapter where Cain and Riff practically make out again, but this time there are more panels ... seriously, when are they going to start kissing?!)
