I woke up early this morning and looked up at the sky. I dunno if I expected to see the results spelled out in the clouds, but I was really, REALLY nervous. You see, I went to bed early last night and had no idea who won.
I turned on the radio.
I screamed with joy.
A lot.
I jumped around.
I hugged the radio.
I scared the cat.
I answered the phone by shrieking 'GOOD MORNING!'
I started jumping around with my arms in the air yelling 'Yes we did! Yes we did! Yes we did!'
(I know 'Yatta' is 'I did it!' but what's 'WE did it?' Ah well ...)

I'm also pleased that in my home state, Susan Collins won. You see, even though she's a a Republican, I do like her, and I'm not especially fond of that Tom Allen guy.

Yesterday I was realizing that the whole election day was kinda like when HP7 came out: there were long lines, an exciting result, and lots of parties.

AYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!

It's a brave new world, ladies and gentlemen and everyone in between.
Welcome to the land of the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuture!

Yeah. Me. I'm in schock. But not really> I had a feeling that he was going to win. I don't like Palin...so...yeah. lol

Hopefully it'll be brighter! XD

Hooray for the future! I really liked his acceptance speech.

Oh man, there was no way I was going to bed on election night. I was so excited/apprehensive about who we were going to elect to end the Bush Dynasty that I couldn't have slept if I wanted to.

My dorm freaked the fuck out when we heard. We all just ran around screaming and hugging each other. I wanted to go out and march with the people in the street, but I wanted to watch the speech. I'm glad I stuck around, but I wish it hadn't taken soooo long to get to the damn speech! It was still very awesome anyway.

That sounds like so much fun! Freaking the fuck out is always good (when it's freaking out in a good way ... with the jumping around and hugs.)
