aunt_zeldaTalk Like A Pirate Day ROCKED! I got candy and coins and saw someone in a gorilla suit!
Ok, I didn't really talk like a pirate enough. I said 'Ahoy!' by way of greeting and called some people bilge-rats behind their backs and suchlike things, but really it was all in my outfit:
I wore striped socks (MATCHING, just to throw people off!) and and mini skirt that's striped and flouncy and a shirt with various skulls and crossed bones on it and a spangly vest and one tiny red skull-and-crossed-bones earring and one large gold hoop earring and BADARSE BLACK PIRATICAL BOOTS THAT ALMOST CAME UP TO MY KNEES!
Oh, I looked AWESOME. AND That-Guy was about and I hope he noticed my legs (it was 36 degrees when I left for school this morning, and my legs were MOSTLY BARE) and I spent the day listening to mostly-pirated music on my iPod. My poetry went down well in a class and I was struck by a FANTASTIC idea for a novel I'm working on and ... *kerslump*
TWO FULL DAYS AND SEVERAL ODD-HOURS UNTIL HEROES!
