amazon.com just shipped V2 of Heroes to me!!! They say I'll probably get it on the 29th! *jumps up and down*

... oh noes! I must finish S1 before I get V2, and then finish THAT by the 22nd of September, so I am completely in Heroes-mode by the time of the three-hour-premiere (how kick ass is that gonna be, guys, seriously? I mean, I know one of those hours is a recap of S1 and S2, but still ...)

AND I'll need to be back in 'OMG DOCTOR WHO' mode by Christmas, then switch back to 'OMG HEROES!' mode after that, and pray that the Doctor Who special episodes next year come AFTER Heroes is over because if not my little fangirl brain might explode ...

The premiere is going to be awesome. I can deal with an hour recap, just because they're showing two episodes.

To make you even more excited about the Doctor Who specials (christmas and otherwise), there's a big rumor going on that the Master's coming back at some point. Some say it'll even be Simm!Master (though I'm not sure about that). Apparently, he was supposed to return during the season 4 finale, but they had too much stuff going on already. Isn't that great?!

I am insanely excited about the DVDs. I mean, last year I had to wait about two weeks, hopefully since S2 didn't do so hot (damn you, pointless het-ships!) the wait will be MUCH shorter. I pre-ordered it ages ago when it was 34% off with the last of my Christmas money. *grinz*

I was THERE, dear, I remember ... but you left out the bits about Hiro loosing some of his cute and pretending he wasn't gay for Kensei and spending WAY TOO LONG in Past!Japan, and Claire getting herself a beard, and Mohinder getting a civil union with Matt on the side. I try to not think about all the horrible aspects of season two. And there are many. The Japan and the West and the Mexico. Momo trying to marry Matt until Sylar showed up and was all, "Bitch, you will be MY housewife and you will fucking like it!" was glorious.

Mmm, I have the not so sudden urge for a fic that's exactly like that. I looooove possessive Mylar sex. It's tasty! But most of it is so poorly written, I'm scared to look.

I LIKE the deleted scenes and getting to see everyone in pretty, pretty clear shots without the futzing of my antennae-manned TV set AND getting to brush up on my Spanish by using the subtitles. And the special features? Really cool, and I haven't even GOTTEN to the good stuff yet, from what I hear!

Besides, him shooting Maya after rolling his eyes ... and then allowing Mohinder TO LIVE further cements Mylar in canon. Sylar does not let ANYONE live ... except Mohinder. Sylar kills SEMI-INNOCENT BYSTANDERS, but not the man who drugged him and tortured him and tried to kill him TWICE?
