Ack ... plus, happy birthday to me!

aunt_zeldaSorry for the confusion guys, but even though I celebrated my birthday with my family YESTERDAY and posted about it ocuring YESTERDAY (around midnight) TODAY (August 18th) is my birthday. Thank you, again, for all your well-wishing and promised fics and such.
Today was a fantastic day. I slept in, went to the beach, wrote a sonnet (and it wasn't hard! Usually syllable counts kill me!) bought gladiolas, and read a bit from a book I loved when I was a little kid.
Then the dog who also lives in the house I live in got sprayed by a skunk. *hacks and coughs* I will NEVER say that skunk-spray smells good, because right now, I feel like I'm gonna throw up. Someone's rushed out to get hydrogen peroxide (apparently tomato juice doesn't work, thank you google!)
I plan to watch Heroes season 1, episode 1, over again, eat tomato and bread salad, and turn in early. Life on Mars can wait, I only have two episodes to go, after all.
P.S. a zit on your bottom lip is annoying, especially when it takes forever to get to a point where you can pop it, and even after that it still hurts when you press your lips together or something. *sigh*
All in all, though, despite the skunking, the price of parking, and the post-zit-bump, it was a very good birthday, especially when I came home and found all of your lovely comments.
