Ok, so, there IS a shot of shirtless Mohinder (yay!) hanging upside down (eh?) but that lovely clip is completely overshadowed by the fact that in another scene he's injecting himself with something, and in yet another scene he is KISSING MAYA!
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwww! Gross! Wrong! Ick! Nooooooooooooo! MOHINDER IS MEANT FOR SYLAR AND NO ONE ELSE!
Ok, maybe Matt, but as Matt appears to be lost in the desert with a horse Bad Horse? and we haven't seen Molly at all in any of the promos, I doubt we'll be getting much more on the House of M and the domestic partner storyline.
*takes many deep breaths that do nothing to calm me* Mohinder and MAYA ... ugh, does Tim Kring have NO IDEA how many fans hate Maya? Did he not see all the hype that fangirls exhibeted when Sylar visted Mohinder IN HIS APARTMENT last finale?! HAS THE MAN COMPLETELY LOST HIS MIND?!

Besides that, everything else about V3 is looking KICK ASS. Niki (or Jessica, probably Jessica) is back, but until I see her do something I'm on the fence about that. Hiro is looking scared (probably about his 'Joker,' aka 'Daphne,' aka Super-Fast-Chick, aka Another-Blond-Woman, aka Has-A-Hairdo-Like-A-Bleached-Blond-Porkepine) in what looks like an apartment he recently moved into. Linderman says something about God's plan (how the hell is HE alive? Do we get flashbacks?! OMG PLEASE let there be flashbacks! PLEASE!) Nathan is alive, looking vaguely evil, and saying something about powers. Sylar appears to be going after Claire, and trashing the new Bennet abode in the process. The screen (split with black and red) urges us to 'choose a side.' HRG is telling Claire the scary story of the prisoners on level Five, blah blah, Angela and Peter discover that the Fivers have escaped, blah blah ...
Oh, yeah, and we get ANOTHER awesome twisted future in which Peter has his scar again (w00t!) and Claire wears black and weilds a gun (... huh) and says, in a very evil, sarcastic voice "I'm sorry, Peter ... I always loved you" and then it looks like she shoots him.
What. The. Hell?

Also, fantastic rumours abound that CLAUDE is coming back! akfadslfjaslfjasdlfkjdaslfjalsjfdd!!! *leaps about* Also MENTIONS OF HANA ARE GARANTEED! YAAAAAAAAY!

Maybe Sylar will find out about the Mohinder/Maya (I mean, he can stalk Mohinder in V3 between attempting to kill Claire and suffering from the revelation that he's probably Angela's third child, right?) situation and kill Maya in a jealous rage. Since Heroes has been off-air for so gorram long, I've become a spoiler whore of sorts. I'm not actively seeking spoilers (except for more on Claude) but when given the oppertunity I take all I can get. It' getting me hyped up all over again. That and heroes_contest. *GRINZ*

I would ship Claire/Peter if they weren't related. The characters would be so sweet together ... plus they're together in real life (which kinda squicks me out because she just turned 18 and he's in his thirties ... ew!) but the chemistry could help the show.

I just looked back at the airdate for the s2 finale and realized it's already been 8 months since the last ep - it's amazing I haven't totally forgotten I love this show! I've done 14+YEARS for Stargate 'verse in the interim.

I've never watched Gilmore Girls either, despite having absurd crushes on nearly the entire cast (Milo, Lauren Graham, Jared Padalecki), and most of what I have heard comes by way of SPN fans and CW RPS, but there seems to be a consensus that Milo's sort of a snob, a bit preachy, fond of sowing dissension, and that he may have cheated on Alexis. But I'm not sure CW RPS can be relied on for anything other than wank and porn, so...

I think the problem with Mohinder/Maya for me isn't the ship itself -- although I feel there are people whom Maya would be better with, if only for stability's sake -- but the idea of giving Maya another romance feels like it's cheating her character of any chance to grow from who she was first season. It may be handled well, but I somewhat doubt it (as romance is obviously not Kring's strong suit), and if it doesn't work and that's Maya's big plot, then she there goes any chance she had of fulfilling her potential. D:

You'd think she'd retreat back into her shell after the LAST guy she made out with killed her brother behind her back, shot her dead, and USED her. I mean, Sylar didn't even give the impression that he was gonna eat her brain (or whatever he does) so the end of V2 gave me the impression that she rated very low on the Heroes totem pole ... and now she's macking with Mohinder? What the hell?

'Conventional romance' at least ... as in, romance where one partner isn't getting beat up/stalked/tortured by the other. Or related to them. *winces* Heroes has so much incest-potential *inches chair away from it*

After going through a total state of shock and wailing a bit, I made up a lot of logical possibilities to explain-away this horrid clip:

1) It's Tim Kring's idea of a sick joke to get the fans all riled up for Heroes returning.
2) That's not really Mohinder and Maya. It's Maya having a dream. When she wakes up, her Catholic-guilt kicks in and she goes to church to confess, where Mohinder will NEVER go, because he's probably Hindu.
3) Someone's using a shapeshifter/illusion/mind-game power to be mean to Maya or Mohinder.
4) Someone's using a shapeshifter/illusion/mind-game power to be nice to Maya.
5) Sylar is having a nightmare.
6) We are all on drugs.


(At least with Elle feeling up the men, we got quotable-lines ... I still called out a slasher's jihad on her, though, and I grew to LIKE Elle ... possibly because I now slash her with Claire ...)
