Phew! I created a worksheet for my Spanish class, and today I handed it out. I was very, very nervous, but it went over very well and people liked it and everything. I am insanely pleased with myself.
Because the subject was Doctor Who, I'm going to post it here  (minus the pictures, though, because I haven't the time to upload even THREE tiny pictures of the 7th, 10th, and 4th Doctors.)

(Please answer the following questions in Spanish.)

Where is the Doctor from?

Does the Doctor travel in a spaceship?

What color is the TARDIS?

Are the Daleks humans in metal suits?

Is the Master a human?

(Circle the correct answer)

B) un gorra

C) un bufanda

¿Que lleva el Décimo Doctor?

I love combining fandom and school. :D

Question, though. Are you sure you don't mean "Doctor Quién" -- Doctor Who? As opposed to Doctor Quiero, which is, "Doctor I want." And when you say the Doctor and the Master have fought "más, más tiempos," do you mean "muchos, muchos tiempos"? Más = more; mucho = many.

How much Spanish have you had? :D I'm at five years, so don't take my word for much. I'm still a beginner. But I try. XD

As a passing commenter I'd like to state that "Doctor I want." Would be pretty damn true for me. If you know, you switch it. I want Doctor. -shifty eyes- -runs away-

Although I'm pretty sure that would be grammatically incorrect, somehow (oh, Spanish grammar, I do hate you), I fully agree with the sentiment. XD Actually, I'm more of the "Master I want" variety, but you know, I'm not gonna say no to the Doctor, if you know what I mean. XD

Also! Big smile at your icon! *points to icon* It's so true.

Yes yes, that was an awful typo of mine, I meant 'Doctor Quien' all the way.
And yeah, the mas and mucho was me freaking out Wednesday night and not knowing how to do that sentance. But besides that it was ok.

I think I'm in ... uh, let's see, technically this is my 2nd official year of Spanish, I'm not sure ... it's not so much years as blundering about and learning how to conjugate verbs ... I can stumble through something if they go REALLY slow and I use bits of English.

This is hilarious! ^_^ I'm currently doing "intensive" Spanish courses, and I would find them far less soporific if we had amusing exercises like these. ^_^

Thank you!
My teacher likes to let us be creative. *grinz* I think you learn more when you do stuff you're interested in.

I think I'll definitely do this worksheet. XD I'm in Spanish one (sad, sad junior in a class of freshman).

Oh yeah, have fun with it!
Don't worry about Spanish, it's EASY, because it has RULES that are FOLLOWED, unlike in English ...

Hahaha. It's not too difficult for me, because I had already taken three years of Latin. I just had to switch to Spanish (I didn't want to. I love Latin) when I moved schools. I can write it alright, I'm just shit at speaking it. xD

Oh, and on a side note. You = the reason of my sudden addiction to Academy!fic.

And since there isn't much out there, my best friend and I are co-writing one. An epically long Theta/Koschei one. :3

I never really took Latin. The teacher was an idiot and then left, so we switched to beginnor's Spanish instead.
I'm ok at writing Spanish and ok at speaking it (apparently I've got a way with language, which is good) but I can't roll my damn Rs! I sound like a cat choking to death whenever I try!

I got you hooked on Academy!Fic?! Cool! *dances*
There isn't much out there? What about this site? http://community.livejournal.com/prydonianfic/
Good luck with your fic! (aimisan, who doesn't use LJ much anymore but is my best friend, read over 'First Impressions' and 'First Kiss' and loved it, despite snorting about all the snogging and such.)

(Your icon reminded me of that DW macro site ... *quails in fear*)

Yeah, I've gone through the PrydonianFic. There really isn't much, in proportion to a lot of other pairings/times.

And I love community.livejournal.com/ihasatardis . :3 It's hysterical.

Well, Doctor/Master is one of the biggest pairings I know of ... besides Kirk/Spock, which is the Father of All Slashes, so duh ...
I am a Plaude shipper, and that's a tiny pairing, I'm afraid ... it's helped by Doctor Who crossovers, though, because CE (Nine) plays Claude, the Invisible Man, on Heroes ...

Yes, ihasatardis is HYSTERICAL. I took numerous pictures of my cat in preparation to post them on that site ... now, if only I could find the time to upload and add text ...

Bahaha, this is fun! Look, Spanish can be fun! Though my dislike for the language is definitely result of my teacher. Oh, how I hated that woman.

But this is fun! I actually enjoy conjugating verbs when they're about Doctor Who.

Yes, Spanish IS fun! (I love the language, but that's because I've had fantastic teachers ... they let us muck about and mess around with Spanish ... sometimes. I loved it when we watched Finding Nemo and kept switching between Spanish dialog and Spanish subtitles ...)

I'm sorry you had an awful teacher. That really makes all the difference, doesn't it? That's how Shakespeare is ruined for most people *sigh*

Yeah, verb conjugations are a pain, but as long as you avoid the irregular ones, you're all set.

Finding Nemo was so hard for me to watch! If you watch it with the words in Spanish and with subtitles, the words and what the characters are saying are different. So you either had to try to read the text really, really fast (because they said a lot less than what was written on the screen) or you had to try and decipher what the characters were saying.

Good thing I'd seen the movie in English a few times, or else I would have been soooo lost.

Our book this year was also a nightmare. It was just a bit book of stories about art and weird South American legends. And EVERYTHING is in Spanish. Even the grammar part, and there were very few examples.

Ever tried watching Shrek in Spanish with Spanish subtitiles? Those teams didn't work together ... SO CONFUZZLING! *headdesk*
They speak SO DAMN FAST ... ARGH!
Yeah, I used to watch Finding Nemo a lot, usually when I was sick and half-conscious ... good movie, but I'm a sucker for all things Pixar ...

I feel very sorry for you. *huggles*

I'm far too frightened to ever watch any movie in Spanish with Spanish subtitles ever again. I need either one or the other.

I know, native Spanish speakers talk so goddamn fast. I'm much better at reading Spanish, but then I miss out on the accent.

I love Pixar movies, too! I love Monster's Inc more than Finding Nemo, though.

Yes, that was a SGA icon. Ronon and Teyla! My other OTP.

Accents are nice, but GOOD LORD are those people on a different plane of reality?

I LOVE Monster's Inc! I LOVE 'BOO!' *SQUEE*

I actually just did this worksheet. XD I was studying for my Spanish final exam, and then I remembered you had posted this, so I did it. XD It was really fun. Doctor Who makes everything, even studying for exams, enjoyable. Maybe if I pretend I'm calculating TARDIS destinations, pre-calculus wouldn't seem like a shotgun blast to the face...

Yes, DW makes everything better, even exams!
Eurgh, maths ... *thanks the gods for my excellent teachers* I used to fail the subject, now that I have good teachers, I'm doing quite well ... still not my favorite thing. And it's right AFTER Spanish, so the first few minutes of math I'm thinking in broken Spanglish ...

Oh, yeah. And my Latin was kicking in, because whenever I read "El Amo", I read it as "The Love". (Amo is "I love" in Latin).

And I chuckled and said, "Well. Close enough, right?"
