Last week I had a strange dream that Claude came back as the First (you know, a person connected with you haunting you?) but he had golden horns and a gold pocket watch. It was WEIRD, because that’s one of my tamer dreams.

 

 

aimisan exists to obsessively fold cranes, yell at me to eat, and steal my cheese.

 

 

Ages ago we were working on ‘gustar’ in Spanish and my teacher asked me for a sentence I provided:

Sylar likes brains.

 

Which we turned into :

Le gustan cerebros a Sylar.

 

Right after the finale, someone on my bus admitted she’d watched the finale last night (and been wicked confused.) But then she said:

“I can’t believe you think Sylar is hot.”

I was perplexed. “Are you sure you know who Sylar is?”

“The guy with the eyebrows and the nose?”

My face fell. ZQ is HOT, you silly hippie! I don’t know her anymore!

 

This from the 13^th of December, about my Math Teacher after someone put a funky hat on his head:

“He looks like the Pope!”

“Blasphemy!” I cheerily called out, ecstatic

My teachers said. “I AM the Pope!”

I said: “Look, it’s snowing!”

Another student said: “I love how ADD we are.”

Then my teacher started imitating the Count from Sesame Street. Someone said he sounded like a Nazi, so my teachers said, amused: “I look like the Pope and sound like a Nazi.”

(No offense meant to anyone, btw, just wanted to remember this stuff. Nazis aren’t cool.)

On with the plea for assistance:

Does anyone know what's appropriate to give a Muslim on Eid al-Fitr? My mom called me because she wants to bake something for her friend at work and doesn't want to offend anyone. I have no idea what Eid al-Fitr is, but I think it has something to do with sheep ...

Also, I think I'm getting my annual Christmas Cold/Fever/Plague. Every SINGLE YEAR I get ill around the holidays and it sucks. Last year, between sleeping on the floor, being unable to breathe through my nose, hearing the wind whistle around the house, and listening to half my family sore so loud the house was shaking, I hardly slept all night.

Well we got in a converastion over who was the most attractive man on Heroes. Dad things is Milo, my mom disagrees. I think it is ZQ, then Sendhil, then Christopher Eccleston then Milo. My dad, though he holds to the fact that he is not attracted to men, will pick out the ones he finds very attractive and talk about why.

I never talk about pairings and fanfic stuff with my mom, so I don't even have that transition--she always gets this funny look on her face that's like, "why are you wasting your time on this/what on earth did I do to screw up my kid's priorities so badly," and also, most importantly... She doesn't like Sylar. =O His eyebrows apparently creep her out.

aww my mom loves him a lot. My brother actaully found my heroes fanfic on my comp once. "Ummmmm ... HAHA Is this fanfiction?" "...Shhh! You never saw that!"

I dont know if dad buys Mylar or not. I know he believes Hiro/Ando and Nathan/Peter. heehee

There seem to be three groups: the Sylar worshippers, the people who are freaked out by his eyebrows, and the people who hate his guts and want him dead.
My relations (when I talk to them about Heroes) sigh and say 'Not EVERYONE is gay, dear' but there is some SERIOUS kinky man-on-man torture in the stuff we watch! Alias and James Bond and Lost ... *reels*

My friends dad (who is basically my second father) always rolls his eyes at me and says that I vastly over estemate the amount of gay men in the world. I just point and go, "Then why are they all up on each other in a rather sexual manner?"

I got my friend into Heroes (andmade her read slash for it also). She really doesn't do slash (she says, "I just don't get why you ship so many slashy couples!") But she has started devolping little ships for Heroes. I win.

*high-fives* My greatest achievement ever is getting aimisan to love Plaude. At first she despised it! Actually, that ties with getting her to like Remus/Sirius, because that is my OTP.

Remus/ME is my OTP. haha no seriously though, it is always great fun to convert friends to slash. A couple years ago I was able to convince a friend of my mine to start writing fanfiction for me. It was great fun.

I actually can't ship most Harry Potter couples because for some reason reading fanfiction for it makes me uncomfortable. Just HP. I don't know why. But I write fanfiction for it. I used to write Sirius/Snape with some Sirius/lupin (but I lost the stories when my computer caught fire) I also right a Snape/OC for a friend.

I am writing so many fanfics right now lol. I actually started the torchwood with werewolves story during nightschool. I use my time effectively. hee hee.
I am almost done with the third chap of the Mylar boarding school story. Wow. Sometimes I am really lazy when it comes to finishing things.
