Together they poisoned many people, including Marie’s father and brothers in order to get their lands and wealth. Marie was rumored to have poisoned poor people when she visited hospitals. Eventually he “died” and she was arrested, tried, and executed in a pretty icky way.)

So she killed Denise’s child and framed Denise for the miscarriages, blaming poison and witchcraft. Denise was thrown into the dungeon and slated for execution.)
