What aunt_zelda Thinks: Double Feature At4W Gun and Sorcery Storyline Conclusion

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!!! *flails with glee*

So, not going to post a lot right now because I'm exhausted and need to get ready for back-to-back classes. But I woke up this morning, checked twitter, and Linkara had posted a link not ten seconds before. I kid you not. Perfect timing! Then I ran over to the Health Center to get my ears dealt with (good news: we know why I was going deaf in one ear in the mornings for short periods of time; bad news: earwax is NASTY.) And I didn't have long to wait once I got back to my dorm room for the next episode! *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE*

Angry!Linkara, for those of you who are into that sort of thing, was in the first episode quite a lot. I liked it, but it made me sad. Like when he shot the Gunslinger's watch. Understandable but ... not a good idea.

And oh gods, the depressing vlogs of Jerris (spelling?) the Gunslinger. His allies are all dead. His wife is trapped in a dystopian world. He got hauled before a guy in a bad wig and thrown in prison by a Centurion (not gonna write fic, not gonna write fic, dayum he looked smexy with his hands behind his back and no jacket and stuff unf.) He gathered some allies and was all excited and then they all DIED. Some of them died SLOWLY. Then he put on a hat and dramatic music picked up and I WANT THAT MUSIC NOW PLEASE and decided to go at it alone by taking other people's guns so nobody else has to get hurt and ... *cries* What a fascinating character, I want to write a novel now. I have an essay due tomorrow and it's not even done and all I want to do is write Jerris (spelling?!) fanfic.

Seriously, I WANT TO WRITE SO MUCH ABOUT THAT GUY.

Also OMG NEUTRO AND INSANO YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY ... wtf SPOONY CUT HIS HAIR?!??!?!?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The acting was all very good. Mr. Wolfgram's "southern" accent was kinda odd but it worked, somehow, at least for me. He's not meant to be actually Southern, he's from another planet lol, "lots of planets have a north ..."

And, um, lots of other stuff happened, I'll put up more detailed thoughts later today hopefully.

… and now I ship Linkara/Jerris. However the hell you spell that name.

NOOOOOO!!!!!! NIMUE!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, is it Holokara, or Mechakara, or Vyce coming back, or something NEW, or her going evil, or what? 

Edits: According to Linkara, the next storyline won't be for a couple of months, but it will be called "Ghost in the Machine."
Also he replied to my question on twitter and the spelling is "Jaeris." Originally it was "Jennis." I approve of the change.

Also when Spoony shows up and is all like "Sorry Insano was a dick, he gets stir-crazy sometimes, wanna play Tekken?" XD

Also, even though I knew in advance Spoony had cut his hair, I didn't know it was gonna end up that short. Why?

and can I just say how sweet and awesome it was for Noah to go to Minnesota just for this? Too bad they didn't have time to do any other crossover things. But hopefully in the future *fingers crossed*

They hit like, all of my kinks in about ten minutes total of screentime. Well, not all of them, but a surprisingly amount!
Lessee ... Linkara gets angry (1) ... Jaeris points his gun at Linkara's head (2) while Linkara is on his knees (3) they have a hand-to-hand fight (4) Jaeris gets really angry and disheveled (5, 6) and Linkara gets gleefully angry (7) and then it's revealed that Jaeris has a Tragic Backstory (8) where he's all puppy-faced (9) and got arrested and tried and handcuffed (10, 11, 12) and thrown in prison (13), and was once all idealistic and then was forced to do bad things for good reasons (14) and put on a sexy black hat (15) ... then he bursts in utterly furious (16) with his loss and threatens Linkara with his gun (17) and Linkara begs forgiveness offers him his own gun as a gesture of trust (18, 19) and then they team up against a common enemy and start working together perfectly (20) and Linkara promises to help him (21) but Jaeris is still angry and not sure about teamwork (22).

... so, yeah, a lot of things I like in a very short space of time. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I'm looking forward to any Jaeris fics you may do :D

I know, right? I'm still a little wary over Spoony because of that whole thing from this summer, I'm glad he's going much better but still ... I've only just started watching his videos again this past month.
But it was so nice to see them together again. At first I was like "oh, Insano is on a green screen ... WHOA HEY THEY'RE FIGHTING FOR REALS! THEY'RE IN THE SAME ROOM!" And then I squeed a lot.

Seriously though, two guys, fancy pistols, one thinks they're enemies and then finds out that the other guy isn't a bad guy at all, and they're both pretty attractive ... I'm gonna ship it like burning and I'm gonna ship it NOW.

They've always played pretty fast and loose with locations and distance and travel time. *shrugs* It was cool to see them not in a hotel room or in front of greenscreens for a change.

I didn't even know that, I was completely surprised!
But yeah, it's not quite "nostalgia" but it's similar to the feeling I got with the AVGN showing up and shaking the Critic's hand in TBF. AWWWWWWWWW.

That's true, and there aren't many crossovers done at their homes.

I know! *SQUEE* (Might have a teensy crush on the guy. A little. Ahem.)
Well he was the body-actor for Lord Vyce, and he's also SNOOOOOWFLAAAAAMEEEE, so I think him showing up as the Gunslinger later is a good bet. And hopefully not dying tragically to save Linkara's life. He'd better be like, an awesome ally who shows up sometimes to help out and make Linkara apologize a lot for destroying his watch.
