God, WHO IS SHE?! I can’t recall ever seeing her before!
I looked up the promo on youtube, froze the frame and stared at her face for AGES.
Texas Tina … Hope … Candice … someone new … god I’m BLIND!
Also, KENSAI APPROVAL will remain as it does. I refuse to believe the strawberry-blond English guy is Kensai. I believe that Hiro will go back in time someday and become the Kensai we know in the legends. KENSAI APPROVAL does not mean a dim-witted, thuggish stand-in or an Immortal who may or may not be evil likes your story. It signifies that I think said story is AMAZING.
Ok, so I didn’t get many comments over on IMDb, and I hang out here more anyway, so I’ll post my ‘What Sarah, Butterfly and Roxanne Think: Episode 1, Season 2’ review/random thoughts/rant here instead! (Note: ‘sarahbutterflyroxanne’ is my username at IMDb … long story …)
What Sarah, Butterfly, and Roxanne Think: Episode 1, Season 2 SPOILERS!
For those of you who don’t know, or don’t remember, this is my weekly vent/rant/crazy comments about last night’s episode. What’s new is that I’m going to be posting it on my lj this afternoon, and I won’t be here as much as I used to be. Feel free to say hi, discuss what I’m pondering, or loudly disagree. That’s what I’m here for.
Nathan looks like a crazy hippee! Matt got a divorse! Molly’s having horrible dreams! Mr. Nakamura and Angel have got the Black Spot! Oh no!
Those pictures they have all fit together (I figured that out before Angela and Kaito met – The Parent Trap teaches you things) which is toally cool, and I LOVE how the helix is EVERYWHERE!
HRG/Noah/Bennet/Butler is in PURPLE! Yet he still manages to be badass …
Yay! Molly’s ok! (Sorta) And she was adopted by Matt and Mohinder! (Now THERE’S a slash we didn’t see …)
Yay! Matt’s a detective!
Kensai is FUNNY. I lol-ed very loud when he took of the mask … Hiro sure has his work cut out for him … and the Swordsmith’s Daughter is wicked cool.
Ergh, alien-robot-West (wanderer? …) is gonna be evil, isn’t he? But he can FLY! WHO CALLED IT?!
Claire’s a chicken, not a robot OR an alien. Silly girl. Snapping at cheerleaders and defending potential lesbians isn’t gonna blow your cover, MORON.

Maya and Aljendro are pretty cool – particularly since I read the graphic novel and was all ‘Oooooo! I know what’s gonna happen!’ and poor Maya! She’s making people die of a black plague … can’t wait to see what happens when and if they find Mohinder … wouldn’t it be interesting if Sylar got her power? I know he probably won’t, but still …
Mohinder’s in CAIRO! Sweet! And that thing with the spoon was AWESOME …
Heh heh heh … Mo and HRG (he needs new glasses I think) are so badass … infiltration!
Nathan’s a scruffy drunk! Yay?
Eeeeew! Nathan sees himself all icky! (My TV is bad, so at first I didn’t see that he was seeing himself …)

Peter’s found alive, cryptically … in a large metal packing case in IRELAND (so, sexy accents all around) HANDCUFFED (Yay!) and with wicked short hair, the Haitian’s necklace, and AMNESIA! *ecstatic, EXPLOSIVE cheers on my part*
So, Sylar wasn’t in the promo, but he’ll be there next week, which is ok, but he appears to be feeling up some beach-chick, which is BAD, what if it’s that flirtatious blond, Elle?!
Mohinder didn’t see Sylar, but he DID have a drink with a skeevy guy, so high hopes all around.
I guess Kensai is Imortal, but then who killed Mr. N? Unless Kensai can teleport (hmmm …) he couldn’t have killed Mr. N and then been in Ireland. (Ipods, honestly … couldn’t they traffic drugs like normal criminals?)

Sylar and the infamous Hawianni dream. Peter’s gonna get TORCHERED, which will be very lovely for me and the three other Peter Haters. Hiro and Kensai teleport, Niki wants a cure, West-Fly-Boy grills Claire to own up to being Uber-cool and almost badass, there’s a box with Peter’s history that Kensai (in the present) is offering Peter. Can all that slash REALLY fit inside one tiny box?
A/N: Do you like my wild ramblings? Keep in mind that came from notes taken as I was watching said episode ... if you hate it with a fiery passion please tell me and I won't post them anymore!

Date: 2007-09-27 09:18 pm (UTC)See, that's what I think. I think Hiro's gonna somehow do all the things Kensai was supposed to do in the legends, and call himself Kensai while he's doing it. (That way he can still get the girl without changing the future in the process.) Hiro can be his own hero!
That's kinda what I think ... something like that ... when I try to think about how Hiro can remember Kensai saved O___ (can't remember the name) Village if it didn't happen because he went back there and changed it my head hurts ...

Date: 2007-09-27 09:55 pm (UTC)Ok, here's what else I think. Matt/Mohinder is the most wtf? pairing. I mean, it was cool when it was a sort of obscure pairing, but now they're living together...? I really doubt Mohinder would agree to raise a child with someone he barely knows, one of the people who almost SHOT MOLLY. Not after the whole "Zane is really Sylar muahahaha" incident.
And as for Peter, heres what I think happened. The Haitian is wandering around, and he sees Peter being all weak and post-explosion. So he (being the creepy, morally something-or-other character he is) rapes him, and wipes his memory, leaving Peter handcuffed to the wall and shirtless and wearing his necklace for next time. Because it totally makes sense. XP
And Nathan's beard? Obviously, Nathan was trying to look like Claude in hopes that the combined power of Plaude and Petrellicest would bring his Petey back to life...

Ok, I don't think I've told you this, but I have this REALLY loud and grating, high-pitched laugh. People have likened me to a seagull or a dying cat. It's the only way I can reach an Uber-high note, and I only do it when I'm REALLY amused. I burst out with it after reading that.

Yeah ... if it was a bit scruffier I could bear it, and it would make more sense, like he shaves occasionally, but not much ... whereas the beard he's got now is so thick it looks like a separate being and I feel ill looking at it ...
