Sick Again ... ergh!

aunt_zeldaWell, wouldn't you know it, I threw up AGAIN. Note to self: don't eat biscuits with raspberry-rhubarb jam EVER AGAIN!
But hot showers are nice, and now I'm going to get my relations addicted to Doctor Who because
Torchwood is coming to BBC America this Saturday!
I missed most of the Doctor Who marathon on BBC America today because I held a yard sale that went ok but could have raked in a bit more cash ... but it was ok ... I scrounged a bunch of funny books by gay comedians from the boxes and a copy of Wuthering Heights so it was ok ...
But now I feel all queesy ... ergh!
I also had a conversation today that's probably been hosted a million times before - The Cookies To Biscuits To Crumpets To Muffins Conversation.
I think I figured it out .... I hope ....

biscuit n cookie. Nothing like an American biscuit, which is a soft, flakey savoury pastry eaten with gravy or butter.
crumpet n. 1. A small teacake. A contributor tells me that they are made of pancake batter, but with raising agents added so that you get all the holes in them. Someone else tells me they're baked on a griddle. I've no idea what a griddle is.

They wouldn't watch Heroes with me :( but they seem to like Doctor Who...

I saw that on BBC America a while ago - saw most of the Season 1 eps but now I'm watching them ALL in ORDER with my RELATIONS. Last night one fell asleep. I'm not kidding! During the first ep where there are all those explosions! *rolls eyes* The other relation laughed at the living-plastic face and called it 'sourdough taking over the world' which is funny but not. *sigh* And Captain Jack is ... well, I just ADORE HIM. TORCHWOOD IS COMING! *dances* I love Nine and all, but for different reasons than I love Jack.
