*blinkblink* I read 'Brokeback Mountain' last night. That was ... uh ... *gulps* yes, I cried, and yes, I wailed a bit, and yes, I was thankful that one of my female relatives had been passing through of late and was around to give me a hug. I see now why people think that seeing the movie will send me spiralling into a deep depression. *huggles self* I felt like ... well, it helps to write this stuff out, so I'll try it out on you lot:

Something large and wet was curled up inside her chest, debating wheter to burst out through her ribs or force its way up her throat.

(Yeah, I know, makes me sound all 'emo' - which, btw, is a term I DESPISE so lay off! - but it helps to write it all out.)

Then I dug out some old books of mine and read bits that made me (eventually) feel better, and then the cat patted in and leap up onto the bed and curled up near my knees and it was all good.

This morning I awoke to cold and rain. What the FUCK is up with all this gorram RAIN? Doesn't Mother Nature know that the play is this week? In an outdoor THEATER? *headdesk* I'm going to call in a bit and ask if today's preformance is cancelled, I even went so far as to try and deciper whether charts on the computer beforehand, but it's only telling me what it's like NOW, which I KNOW because I'M RIGHT HERE LOOKING OUT THE WINDOW.
Yeah, methinks the lack-of-sleep is getting to me. *rubs eyes* Plus I might have allergies. Bet it's to mold ... which, I think, would be a convinent allergy if you were a health-inspector. Or really, really mean. (You go into someone's house, sneeze, and point and laugh.)
Yeah, some guys in the play are getting on my nerves. It's affecting me and making me sound all bitchy to you guys, which makes no sense because you guys are NICE to me and don't talk loud backstage, clop around in noisy shoes, or make lewd comments when I'm listening to the show. Plus all this rain is making everyone else depressed and I am SICK and TIRED of being the nice, happy one around here! *sighs*
My birthday's coming up soon, though! Yahoo!

(Oh, damnit ...) PJ-Kun, happy (late) birthday! *hugs you* I WILL have that fic for you ... possibly next week, when I have time to sleep properly and think out of iambic pentameter.

Ah, the play went very well today after all! There was a lull in the rain for just the right amount of time, and though our audience was tiny (about 17 people, 13 of whom paid) and yeah, it started steadily drizzling during the last scene, everything went well enough. *beams* Thank you one and all for your good-vibes!

Oh, you must all read this: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/7540819.stm
It says David Tennant's hair deserves a credit of its own. Tee hee.

"Stewart, too, deserves credit for his understated scary portrayal of Claudius. He is the chilling calm to Tennant's vivacity."

Sounds like the Master to me! (Well, not Simm!Master, but you get my meaning ...

I had an interesting idea for a novel today. It involves immigrants, a space-freighter, and two gay men (one Irish-Latino, the other Chinese-English) in the midst of a sort of gang war.

Now ... do I curl up in my purple swively chair and watch 'Blade Runner' or 'Blade' ... that IS the question ...

(Edit: D.E.B.S is one of the weirder movies I've seen. Very cute, though, and surprisingly enjoyable.
OMG HP6 TRAILER AT LAST! *jumps up and down and squeals*)
