Title: Drabbles About Claude’s Past

Rating: R for lots of non-con and some scary stuff …

Genre: Drabble, I think. Never figured out the exact word count for one.

Pairings: Plaude, Claude/Linderman, Claude/Thompson, Claude/Kaito, Claude/Noah

Word Count: 633

Warnings: If you haven’t watched all of Season 1 of Heroes, you shouldn’t be here, you should wait and watch the DVDs!

Disclaimer: Uh … obviously I don’t own Heroes. Wish I did. Then slash would run rampant, Hana wouldn’t be an infomorph, and Mohinder and Sylar would adopt Molly!

Summary: Claude has a bunch of flashbacks as to why he’s not good enough for Peter.

My Thoughts: I worked incredibly hard to get dates and ages right. This is also probably one of the most disturbing things I’ve ever written. And yet it almost borders on crack in some places … I’m just WEIRD. The last part was revised about two thousand times and I’m still not sure about it …  inspired by  [profile] ola_sw's  drabbles ... mostly the Linderman/Claude one ....

Claude is 43

I don’t deserve you.

That’s what he’s thinking as the boy kisses him.

I’m old, I’m broken, and terrible, terrible things have been done to me. Just by touching me, you’re being poisoned …

Claude is 16

He’s been in this cell for a long time. If meals are any judge – twenty-seven divided by three – it’s been nine days.

This probably has something to do with the fact that he can become invisible. Maybe he’s an alien. Maybe the government is going to cut him up …

The door swings open, and a man strides in. Obvious authority.

“Get up,” the man suggests.

Claude spits at him and doesn’t budge.

The man chuckles, kicking Claude in the groin and dragging him up. “Spirit … nice … I can break that …” and suddenly his lips are on Claude’s, his fingers are in obscene places and god this man is old enough to be his father and …

He doesn’t want to remember more, but he does.

Claude is 21

People at the Company achieve their desires through blackmail and threats, but as Claude has nothing to be threatened by, he decides to take matters into his own hands for once.

“Do ya want ta shag me?” Claude snaps, shutting the door and glaring at Thompson. “You’ve been lookin’ at me funny for weeks now; just bloody get it over with.”

Thompson grins in a disturbing way. “How do you feel about handcuffs?”

Claude glowers.

Claude is 25

Kaito Nakamura grabs a hold of him after a meeting. “Please accompany me to my hotel room,” he says in a way that makes it very clear that Claude does not have a choice in the matter.

Why is the whole bloody Company obsessed with me?! Claude wonders wildly as the Japanese man drags him off in a vice-like grip.

It’s not that bad – it’s actually almost pleasant – but as Linderman and Thompson precede Kaito, Claude’s not so sure he’s a good judge of such things.

Claude is 28

When Bennet starts following him around like an annoyingly overenthusiastic puppy, Claude realizes that younger men must be the way to go. Older men are twisted, dominating, ready to take what they want regardless. Well, Company Men are, at least.

So after a successful mission involving a levitating man, Claude and Bennet go to a bar, where Claude gets Bennet spectacularly drunk.

“Would you think I was being very rude,” Bennet slurred. “If I said you were incredibly sexy?”

Claude grins. “No, not at all,” he leans forward, feigning innocence. “Actually, I think it would be very rude if you didn’t fuck me back at the motel.”

Well, Bennet certainly didn’t want to be rude.

Claude is 43

Older men are sick and wrong and younger men betray you. Women are unattractive, vain, and strangely eager to fall into Claude’s uninterested arms. He had just accepted his fate of being alone for the rest of his life when Peter came.

Young – the age gap is huge compared to Bennet’s – desperate for approval and amazingly beautiful.

Innocent want shines in Peter’s eyes when the boy breaks away from the kiss.

Before Claude can decide whether to kiss the boy or hit him, Peter rushes forward once more; warm little hands exploring all over, eager lips and hot breath … such a lovely creature can’t possibly want him – so old and wrong …

The thought of ruining this child – becoming Linderman and Thompson and Kaito all at once, is too much to bear.

So Claude shoves Peter back, snaps angry denials even though he can tell the boy’s in his head and knows perfectly well how he feels.

Broken … I don’t deserve you … you’re too perfect … leave me alone …

And Peter does.

Oh, that hurts.

He doesn’t want to remember more, but he does.

Nicely understated way of telling the story.

Well, Bennet certainly didn’t want to be rude.

*g*

Older men are sick and wrong and younger men betray you.

That reads like the start of a poem :)

Really liked this, even though it hurts.

Oh, dear. This has been a very gloomy night for me.

Loved young, freaked out Claude.

Why is the whole bloody Company obsessed with me?! Claude wonders wildly as the Japanese man drags him off in a vice-like grip. - Well, who could blame them, really?

This, though:

The thought of ruining this child – becoming Linderman and Thompson and Kaito all at once, is too much to bear.
This was my favorite line.

Good job!

*moans*

Am I the only one here who wants to give Claude a big hug? Seriously. Poor baby (even though he is old enough to be my father (o_O)) I just wanna give him a big giant hug.

*huggles nonexistant Claude plushie*

But then Claude comes back, right? Right? Because that was sad enough without the unhappy ending.

Anyway, beautifully done, loved every single one, as disturbing as they were.
