aunt_zeldaI had a good day (stayed up horribly late last night, but I got to sleep in a bit) and managed to organize my clothing situation somewhat by cleaning out my dresser, trying on half my wardrobe to make sure they all still fit/I liked the stuff I have, and squeezing most of them into my dresser. And vacuuming my dusty bedroom, because for about four hours I couldn't stop sneezing and snuffling and being gross because of dust alergies. But it's DONE and I got to listen to some nice vlogs while I cleaned, so life is good at the moment.

In the FFVIII review, TimeWarp!Insano recruits Squall, the main character of the game, to kill Spoony.
In this, Black Lantern Spoony is recruiting Tidus, the main character of FFX, to destroy him. It raises the question of whether or not he'll succeed like Squall.
Wait. Destroy him? He just said reviewing Final Fantasy X was a fate worse than death--a living HELL, even..and wait..didn't he say the "afterlife" was Pantheistic? Why was BL Spoony in hell?
And wouldn't TimeWarp!Insano be a more suitable target for Black Lantern Spoony's violence, rather than his hapless clone?! IS IT WRONG THAT I STILL LOVE SPOONY, DESPITE HIM FLUSHING ALL LOGIC AND CONTINUITY DOWN THE TOILET!?!?!?

That made me laugh a loud, snarky laugh ... and then I imidiately thought "... oh, he really shouldn't have said that. Yipes!"

That made me laugh a loud, snarky laugh ... and then I imidiately thought "... oh, he really shouldn't have said that. Yipes!"
You know, it wasn't so much the deeper meaning of his statement that made me laugh, it was just the fact that he called out the game on that REALLY stupid quote. XD I honestly don't know a thing of Scientology, so I wouldn't be able to feel one way or another on it. XD

Scientology - (noun) a religion based upon the science-fiction novels of L. Ron Hubbard which many have likened to a cult. Among other things, it promises rituals to unlock your inner alien powers if you only give them all of your life's savings, and even then it's unlikely. They also don't believe in listening to doctors or psychiatrists, which has led to many a tragic death because people refused to take their meds, leading to physical and/or mental endangerment. Bring them up in a chatroom at your own risk.

Volume 1 was perfection (except for like one episode.) Volume 2 was pretty good, not fantastic but it could register as 'good' ... and then the Writer's Strike happened and the awesome Plague Arc got thrown out the window and stupid Maya was suddenly useless, and all her whining had been for naught and arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!

Oh, I used to post a full-out rant/recap/discussion about each and every episode. They weren't quite as long or detailed as TWoP, but they were that sort of thing.

Also, please note that the earlier ones were basically typed-up notes I took while watching the show live, so they're not very coherent or good and full of complaints about how fuzzy my tv was. Eventually I started watching online, with a pause-function, and they got better.
They have the 'heroes_meta' tag because during V2's run someone suggested I start submitting my recaps to them, which I did, and was quoted in this luverly thing once a week: http://community.livejournal.com/heroes_meta/ It's well worth a read as a Heroes fan, but be warned: they're addicting and will make you laugh uncontrollably!
If I hadn't had TGWTG and the Treehouse to comfort me, I don't know what I'd have done during that last season of Heroes.

*fans you too* Goodness, all I did was write one silly fic last year to cheer up some strangers on tvtropes! Then I found some people to squee with and write with and then bubo made the community and now there's posts practically every day and people on TGWTG.com reference us now and again and life is really, really good.
(Please don't think of me like some high-and-mighty goddess type thing, I'm honestly just like you: a TGWTG fan with an LJ account.)

Then I founded the slash (and het and gen) fandom for it. One of the vloggers read my fic aloud. It's all kinds of awesome.

I am doing well ... I still miss Heroes (well, not so much Heroes as the fantastic people I met online because of it - yourself included of course - and the fantastic fic-ing) but now TGWTG.com fandom is my fandom darling, so it's ok. I'm glad I had this when I heard that Heroes had been cancelled. Heroes was my first real fandom, the one that got me online and into fanfiction and hooked me up with so many wonderful people and supportive environments.

*hugs you* TGWTG.com is great because every day like four videos are uploaded from various people, so there's never a boring moment. Linkara and the Critic update one a week without fail. Also, the fanfic fandom is very active, supportive, cuddly, and fantastic. And we support the awesome female characters!
