Alignment:
Lawful Neutral A lawful neutral character acts as law, tradition, or a personal code directs him. Order and organization are paramount to him. He may believe in personal order and live by a code or standard, or he may believe in order for all and favor a strong, organized government. Lawful neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you are reliable and honorable without being a zealot. However, lawful neutral can be a dangerous alignment because it seeks to eliminate all freedom, choice, and diversity in society.


Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.


Class:
Rangers are skilled stalkers and hunters who make their home in the woods. Their martial skill is nearly the equal of the fighter, but they lack the latter's dedication to the craft of fighting. Instead, the ranger focuses his skills and training on a specific enemy a type of creature he bears a vengeful grudge against and hunts above all others. Rangers often accept the role of protector, aiding those who live in or travel through the woods. His skills allow him to move quietly and stick to the shadows, especially in natural settings, and he also has special knowledge of certain types of creatures. Finally, an experienced ranger has such a tie to nature that he can actually draw on natural power to cast divine spells, much as a druid does, and like a druid he is often accompanied by animal companions. A ranger's Wisdom score should be high, as this determines the maximum spell level that he can cast.

I don't agree with my character alignment: I'm a freaking Libertarian, for Odin's sake! I do not seek 'to eliminate all freedom, choice, and diversity in society.' I fight against things like that! Ugh! Why on earth would they think that about me?!
Besides that glaring mistake, it all seems to match up, I guess ....


Edit: As always, when I'm annoyed about something on the internet, I went to tvtropes. Turns out I'm in good company: Vetinari, Jack Bristow, Baron Klaus von Wulfenbach, Sokka, Death, and DEATH. 'Lawful Neutral' doesn't seem to be a popular alignment for the ladies, though it does seem to be for Magnificent Bastards.
I'm still mad, but not as mad.

It got me right - true neutral Ranger/Sorcerer with low strength, but otherwise average stats. What alignment do you think you are? Some variant of Neutral or straight out good/evil? You strongly believe in a cause/ideology, and (apparently?) don't associate that cause with specifically bettering anybody/anything - Lawful Neutral or Lawful Good probably, but Lawful something. The way I see it lawful is simply when you have a deeply held conviction/code that you personally uphold, and the good/evil/neutral thing just applies to how/if you want to apply it to others.

I thought of myself as more Neutral Good or Chaotic Good: doing my own thing, but erring on the side of 'good,' a little selfish/cowardly/maybe even lazy from day-to-day, but selfless and brave about the big important things (re: human rights, gay rights, women's rights, war, pet adoption.) There should be some kind of law, but just because the law says something doesn't make it RIGHT, it just IS, and it could CHANGE if enough people disagree with it.

I FEEL more like Chaotic Good. I'll follow the law when I think it's in the right, and I'll rebel when I feel I'm in the right, and I'm a pretty decent person.

one thing to keep in mind is that alliances can change and if you look at the details your next in line for lawful good and then chaotic netrual so its not too bad.
