Just watched The Musketeer, which I've been meaning to do since my theater friends reccomended it to me this summer.
OMG FIGHT PORN!
Really, that's what it is. The entire movie is just an excuse to combine wireworks with 17th Century swords. AND IT IS AWESOME. (ZOMG!!!!!!11!!!!! etc.)

Also, Phineas and Ferb rocks my mismatched socks. Perry/Doof FTW!

Goodnight!

Hm. This Musketeer sounds like something I should take a look at...

OMGosh, Phineas and Ferb is... is... I cannot even convey how awesome it is. At least not without copious amounts of swearing, which seems inappropriate for the subject matter XD

Is it bad that I actually almost ship a middle-aged mad scientist and a platypus? Because I really think it might be. X.x

Yes, yes it is. Ignore the story and bad acting, stay for the KICKASS fight scenes!

This is very true! (I NEED AN ICON OF PERRY! AND DOOF! OR PERRY AND DOOF!)

I don't see how someone COULDN'T ship them. I mean, come on, It's About Time where Doof was CHEATING on Perry with Peter the Panda, and they had to go on a talk show to get back together! *SQUEES* HOW DID DISNEY LET THAT HAPPEN?! I DON'T CARE: IT'S AWESOME!!! And those SONGS ... 'My Nemesis' is the official Foe Yay anthem!
(Also, Linkara = Perry and Insano = Doof. OTP/OTP! Slash Squared!)

(P.S. LJ has notified me that it is your birthday soon. Gimme a prompt, I'll write you a present!)

...They have no idea people like us exist, maybe?

Foe Yay anthem, aha. XD So true.

I don't quite see the Perry = Linkara thing, but it might just be me.

Ooh... Shiny. :D

Honestly, my birthday isn't actually until early November (I didn't even remember putting it on this site), but if you still want to... Um...

Insano comes across the evil overlord list at tvtropes and finds it illuminating/annoying/whatever. Shenanigans ensue. :3

One can only assume ... unless there's this giggling fangirl working at Disney and saying "oh, they have no idea what this platypus and mad scientist will inspire on the internet ..."

Foe Yay anthem, aha. XD So true.
I know, right? *sporfles*

I don't quite see the Perry = Linkara thing, but it might just be me.
Well, they both wear hats, have catchy-as-hell theme songs, have large armies of fangirls, and battle mad scientists.

Ok! (When's your birthday? I need a sort-of-due date. And can I combine this prompt with a 'Death or Sex' prompt that emeriin gave me? Please?)

Ahaha, I want to work for Disney now.

I'd rather not put the actual date on the internet, but it's within the first two weeks.

And can I combine this prompt with a 'Death or Sex' prompt that emeriin gave me? Please?

Sure. Sounds intriguing... >;)

I was just saying to a friend the other day that I wanted to see The Musketeer again for the pretty pretty swordfights. :D I didn't like it much on any other grounds, but the fight porn (and that hot D'Artagnan) was enough!

You should see the newer version of Count of Monte Cristo, which was choreographed by the same person. I also recommend the novel highly; sexy swashbuckling skullduggery all over the place! Man, the 19th century French really knew how to write a novel. Or at least Dumas did.

It was pure, undiluted FIGHT PORN. And I loved it! (Also, D'Artagnan was purty ...)

You mean the 2002 one with Dumbledore? I've seen that one many times. IT IS AWESOME.

I've been meaning to read the book since the fifth grade. Once I'm done with the FOUR books I am currently reading (egads, help! *drowns*) I'll check out Dumas again.
