aunt_zeldaSeriously, I dunno if it's the people I was playing with today, or that I've grown into my body since the years since I played with a team, or that it was a really nice day today or what, but I had SO MUCH FUN playing soccer this afternoon! I used to suck, I was on a really bad team when I was a kid, and then I played at camp, but I still kinda sucked. But today I played with a great group and did really well! I did an Assist! (That's where you pass to someone and then they score.) It was SO COOL. I've never done that before!
I'm so exhausted. I'm not in shape at all. But I was on offense a lot, and made some good kicks and passes and blocks. SO MUCH FUN. I laughed and panted and even fell over once, and I can't wait to do it all over again next week!
Also ... everyone should go and listen to Spoony's commentary on 'Alone in the Dark' review, mostly because he talks about a line that got cut after the 'I should get glasses ...' about how sexy Linkara and the NC's glasses make them and how he'd do them both right there ... yeah. Spoony, you know about us, don't you? And you like to watch our antics. Don't deny it.
Hopefully I should have that Goggles/Spoony 'In Spaaaaaaaaace' fic up tonight. I worked a bit on it today at lunch.
Oh, and my amazon package came a day early! Buffy Season 8, volume 1 AND the fourth 'Y: the Last Man!' OMG! I'm so excited! Ayyyyyyyyyiiii!
(My Doctor Horrible DVD is apparently arriving next week. Woot!)

It gets to a point where it's like, "We could sit here and stare at the wolls, or we could play a game and shoot people and be all stealthy and sly!!!"

Ah, it's ok. We all laughed and she kept apologizing and I felt fine after a while. She's on an actual team, you see. Plus we were playing 'World Cup' so all of us were wicked close to the goal and tangled up in each other.
