Ok, read EVERYTHING in this review picturing me clutching my head and rocking around and making the actual noises 'ARGH!' and 'NNNRRRGUH!' and even some little wibbles, which for me sound like a cross between a kitten mewling and a teakettle going off.

I mean ... DAYUM. I know was WARNED and all, but SWEET TINKERBELL JESUS!!!!1!!!!!1!!!!!!!1!1!!!!!! *collapses into a state of fannish shock*

I'm having trouble formulating words here, so this WAZT will be incredibly random and strange.

Let's start at the obvious place: MORGAN DIED NOT COOL JIM BUTCHER! Morgan has been one of my top three favorite characters (with him, Harry, and Marcone all vying for the crown at various intervals) since he stroke into the series in book one with a sword threatening the most real-sounding fictional character I'd ever read, Harry Dresden, and proceeded to pull the rug out from under my feet and gain my alligence as a fangirl to the incredibly underappriciated character that is Donald Morgan.
AND THEN HE WENT AND DIED. I'm sure they heard my defiant and shocked yells of outrage in Antarctica, that's how loud I was. I also flailed. Angrily. (Yes, angry flailing can be done, and yes, I'm glad my cat wasn't around to see that.)
I'm still mad about that. I just finished the book half an hour ago. I'm sure that once I've managed to calm down about this (by the time the next book rolls around, for example ...) I'll be able to view Morgan's death as fitting, honorable, a little slashy, and damnably nesscesary. Right now all I feel is MAD. (Then again, I STILL haven't gotten over Lupin and Tonks' deaths in DH, so who knows, maybe I'll always want to hit Jim Butcher over the head with my copy of Turn Coat for this developement.)

I don't even know where to begin with Thomas. After that fantastic scene in the Club (with canon 'guys checking Harry out' HEE HEE HEE SQUEE) the ending for him ... really felt like a kick in the gut. What's worst is that I can't honestly object to how Jim Butcher handled Thomas. I mean ... he's been fighting against a demon THAT LIVES INSIDE OF HIM, and then he was tortured by That-Which-Shall-Not-Be-Named (which, BTW, made me nervous about turning off the lights last night, major props to you, Mr. Butcher, for scaring the socks off of this fangirl once again) and ... now he feels ok again. It sucks, mostly because during that scene at the zoo I was hitting my bed in frustration because I thought, like a couple other loyal fans, that Thomas was going to take up Amoracchius (sword of LOVE, he's in LOVE with Justine ... plus Harry's got a sword on the front cover. The cover LIES, just like the Heroes promos!) and somehow the demon would burn away or something deus ex machina like that and ... yeah, I have this THING where I like a book to end with at least SOME characters better off than they were at the beginning of it, ya know? I really have to shake that, don't I?

Speaking of Swords, was I the only one who thought that Harry (or Murphy, or SOMEONE) was gonna take up Excaliber Amoracchius or Fidelacchius and destroy the Thing-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named with it? I mean, Morgan took one out with a BOMB (BADASS. I kinda squeed at him and Harry having their manly-man bonding scenes, which were far too few and far-between, in-my-not-very-humble-opinion) but what about Godly swords, eh?

The running gag of Harry coming back home to find his Nakama at each other's throats really cracked me up. And the scenes with him and Molly made me cry. Not literally, but I was THISCLOSE to sobbing onto the pages. Trust me.

Another thing that had me THISCLOSE to sobbing was finding out that Luccio was mind-melded into a relationship with Harry. First I yelled "NOOOOOO! OH COME ON! Why can't this guy be HAPPY for FIVE MINUTES in this DAMN SERIES?!" or something to that effect. There was a lot of yowling in there too. On the one hand, I'm always happy when Harry is availible, but a rather cool/infuriating thing about this series is that it makes me LIKE the female love interests of the main character. Makes me SQUEE about the relations Harry has with his girlfriends. Of course, I also squee about his relations with guys (because Harry is so, so bisexual and it's about a sentence away from canon, don't try and disuade me from that belief!) but making me not only love and adore canon (re: female) love-interests AND the slashy repartee Harry has with other guys ... that's an incredible feat of writing. *applauds Jim Butcher once again*
Jim Butcher can apparently do wrong (re: Morgan) but can also make me not give a rat's ass about it.

It helps that he introduced not one, but TWO new characters with whom I instantly fell in love with. Binder had me at the Cockney accent (I know 'the Cockney-accented mercenary guy' is a cliche, but hey, I was reading aloud every single one of his damn lines in my Badger-voice, so don't knock it!) and then there was Vince. I. Love. Vince. He and Harry will have adorable, awkward, extremely Noir P.I. sex and form a cute and stable relationship with each other in either the canon series or the fanfic series that I will personally take it upon myself to write this summer. You think I'm KIDDING? Read. Their. Scenes. I can give you page numbers. I bookmarked them!

Seriously, it's like Jim Butcher said to himself: "Hey, next book! Ok, Morgan shows up at Harry's door and they enact some slash fanfic - which I technically can't know about because of the legal implications, but whatever, the fangirls will squee - and then there will be a lot of plot-heavy action, but no one will notice because of my INSANE pacing skills! 'Death death fight fight plot plot slash slash plot plot squee fight fight plot plot!' And then I'll introduce two new characters to appease aunt_zelda, as she's going to HATE ME for a) killing off one of her favorite characters and b) making the book so good that she doesn't even have TIME to realize that Marcone, her other favorite character, wasn't even in it this time around! Mwhahahahaha!"
(Jim Butcher, if you ever read this, I mean no actual ill-will towards you. I adore your books. I think you're one of the greatest writers alive. Keep it up with the Shakespeare references, they make my geeky heart squee. Lots of love, aunt_zelda.)

I can't be THAT mad that Marcone wasn't in this book because Small Favor was all about Harry running around trying to save his ass, and Turn Coat was so amazingly distracting and fast (I think I've got jet-lag from finishing it this morning) that I only thought about Marcone ... twice during the actual reading of the book. Maybe three times. That's an AMAZING feat to accomplish!

Have I mentioned once of my all-time favorite lines EVER? Harry says "That came out a little more homoerotic than I intended." And the Merlin says "Indeed." And I laughed. And laughed. And LAUGHED.

And HAHAHAHA donut! That was the best line from the LAST book, but they brought it up again in THIS book. *SQUEE*

Plus, gratuitous Shakespeare-reference. Always a must. *SQUEE* I admit, I just about DIED when Harry (mis)quoted Henry V in Proven Guility. Not that anyone else, you know, NOTICED, but it's the thought that counts. I love books that cater to almost all of my hats, as it were.

I love the symetry of the whole book, you know, beginning with calling in Butters and ending with calling in Butters. Made me smile. I hope he survives this series and gets a nice girl (or guy, whatever floats his boat) to snuggle up with once it's all over. (Not that I think it'll EVER be 'all over' but you know what I mean.)

WILL. That is all.

I'm worried that Murphy's getting left behind. For the same reason that I miss Harry's office and investigations, I miss Murphy doing stuff. She's getting outclassed. I think she's going to take up Fidelacchius. I don't think her character has a choice. There's this point that characters who survive long enough in a supernatural series reach: either they die to motivate the other characters, or they advance to a higher level. Since I believe Murphy to be the best female character in current fiction, I cannot express how much I do not want her to die.

How hilarious is it that Harry is now a conduit to Jacob? During all that terror, I still managed to squeeze in a giggle.

I know Harry puts all this emphasis on how Thomas is his BROTHER and BLOOD and CONECTION and such ... but Harry's got a HUGE family. What started with him and his cat has morphed into something of epic, the-cast-of-Lost proportions. He has a Nakama. He is not alone. That doesn't mean he shouldn't be worried about and try to 'save' Thomas, but he should be aware of what he's got. Thomas isn't his single ray of humanity. (Wow, that ... came out a lot harsher than I meant it to ...)

And, of course, we ended with a knock-off-D&D tournament. It's good for the soul, dudes! *wibbles and squees and yells and rages and cries and flails and kerslumps*

P.S. BADASS SHAPESHIFTER BATTLE FOR THE FUCKING WIN!

SOMEONE ELSE HAS FINISHED IT!

Aaaaah I finished the book so quickly and I'm so happy someone else did, too! Your reaction was very similar to mine...I was flailing a lot. And some twitching and gasps and fannish squeaks were involved.

First off, MORGAN. MORGAN WTF. I liked Morgan, too, and I totally wanted him and Luccio to get together since her entrance in Dead Beat...and. AND. OMG. THE LUCCIO/HARRY THING BEING FALSE. I was both sad and gleeful when I read that, because I was originally a little disappointed in Butcher for bringing the Harry/Luccio out of nowhere. But it turns out that was how the relationship was supposed to seem, and JB was just being INCREDIBLY SNEAKY <3 Word on the Harry as canon bisexual, by the way. Guys eyeing him the club made me laugh. And the homoeroticism line made me giggle for a disproportionate amount of time. There is no way JB doesn't know about slashers.

Speaking of slash - no Marcone, sadly, but now I'm tempted to go back and read Harry's scenes with Vince, now that you've mentioned them (Vince was awesome.) Also, I adored the Harry/Morgan scenes in this book (Harry and Molly's scenes were tugging at my heartstrings, too.) Especially at the end, when Morgan tells Harry why he never told anyone about what Molly did... ;__; *sniff* And Thomas! oh, Thomas. This book is, I think, one of the darkest if not THE darkest yet...I had my hopes about Amoracchius too (though I still think Thomas will end up with it, and Murphy with Fidelacchius). Thomas being so utterly destroyed was chilling.

Second part of comment because, whoa, I have a lot to say apparently. The plot of this was fantastic...Peabody! When I found out how he'd been mind controlling the Council (with ink!) I actually said aloud, "Oh my god, it's fuckin' PEABODY!" And of course he was just a cat's-paw for whoever's really pulling the strings here...I have my money on Cowl and some others of the Black Council. And I still don't trust Ancient Mai (and, weirdly enough, have my suspicions about Rashid). Shapeshifter Battle for the win, yes. And Harry controlling the spirit of the island of doom! My god, this book just sent the Holy Shit Quotient out into the friggin stratosphere.

Also, Morgan. I felt so bad when I read how Luccio constantly turned him down...poor, poor guy. I loved his bonding with Molly, though. Speaking of Molly, her little venture back into mind-twisting gave me shivers as well. And I totally agree with you about Murphy! Murphy is such a rocking female character. I don't think she'll die, though. She's too much an integral part of Harry's life...just like I don't think Thomas will die. (Speaking of Thomas - ew, Lara getting hit by that mine blast or whatever it was?) The shapeshifter scared me, too...

Now that I have rambled sufficiently, shutting up now :)

Maybe we should have filmed our reactions to put next to the definition of 'flail: verb' in the fandom dictionary ...

AND. OMG. THE LUCCIO/HARRY THING BEING FALSE.
My brain was like 'WHUH?!??!!!!!11??!!!!'

JB was just being INCREDIBLY SNEAKY <3
He's a sneaky-sneak of an author ... and we love him so.

HARRY IS BI AMEN SISTER! (And Jim Butcher totally knows about us. Legally he can't admit to knowing about fanfic, which is sad, but it's fun to imagine him trolling LJ for some fics to chuckle over.)

Speaking of slash - no Marcone, sadly, but now I'm tempted to go back and read Harry's scenes with Vince, now that you've mentioned them (Vince was awesome.)
Ooooooh, you must! I'm actually considering writing some fic about them, that's how slashy they struck me!

Especially at the end, when Morgan tells Harry why he never told anyone about what Molly did... ;__; *sniff*
*squeaks*
Harry, Morgan, and Molly were all incredibly on-par in Turn Coat. *cheers them*

*wibbles* Thomas ... (maybe he takes up Amoracchius and it burns the demon out of him? *shrugs* I dunno, but I hope he doesn't stay like he is for long, it's creepy!)

OMG PLOT! *fangasm* Jim Butcher wows me with his plots and pacing every damn time, but ... DAMN. *reels*

Ancient Mai terrifies me ... but now we KNOW it isn't the Merlin (or at least, it'd be pretty ridiculous for it to be the Merlin.) Maybe Rashid is manipulating things because he kinda HAS TO, not so much because he WANTS TO, and is responsible for the Black Council that way? *shrugs* Whatever it turns out to be, I'm sure it'll floor us regardless.

My god, this book just sent the Holy Shit Quotient out into the friggin stratosphere.
I KNOW! Shapeshifter Battle FTW OMG FTW I almost DIED at the sheer awesomeness of that ... and Harry is now Jacob from Lost! It are fact!

I felt so bad when I read how Luccio constantly turned him down...poor, poor guy.
*can sympathize* I've spent the past week staring in horror and mild rage as That-Guy with whom I have a crush on holds hands and HUGGLES a girl who KNOWS how I feel about That-Guy. I can't imagine if That-Guy shacked up with someone whom I thought of like Morgan thinks of Harry (dangerous loose canon who used DARK MAGICS TO KILL.)

I got SO WORRIED about Molly. If Harry's talks in 'Turn Coat' didn't make her swear Dark Magic off for good, I don't think anything will. That scares me.

Murphy will definately live ... but I think she'll need Fidelacchius to do so.

Finished it last night! It was a fast read.

I honestly didn't expect Morgan to die. I thought he'd make it, even with Rashid's warnings (I <3 Rashid, by the way; and also Ebeneezar). So that was just horrible. I loved him, paradoxically, because he's an a**hole, but he's still fundamentally a decent man, trying to do the right thing. In their own way, he and Harry are an awful lot alike, you know? They both have uncompromising principles, are unwilling to bend for anyone else or (frequently) accept the validity of seeing things from someone else's perspective. They both try to do the right thing, however weird and half-assed the "right thing" may be.

I was also shocked by Thomas. I knew the thing'd (Shagnasty, HAH!) done a number on him, but...I wonder how much of that is him being broken and the demon speaking, and how much is simple shock and trauma. It could be that he'll be okay, but I suspect that'll get a lot uglier before it gets better.

I whimpered over Anastasia, too. She's pretty awesome, and their breakup was the most elegant I've ever seen. They honestly like each other, and I think that even if it couldn't last (and really, it could never have lasted in the long run), it was good for both of them--simple, fun, and truly caring in the way of friends and shield-mates as well as lovers.

Anastasia in her new body is an awful lot like Murphy with a few centuries of experience, though. I couldn't help noticing. I mean, even their reasons for not being in relationships come down to "I'm a cop, and people get hurt."

DONUT! Donut goes down in legend.

"You're in America now. Our idea of diplomacy is to show up with a gun in one hand and a sandwich in the other and ask which you'd rather have." This nearly killed me.

I'm really liking Lara, too. The gorgeous dangerous ones with a sense of humor are clearly Harry's type. Or Harry's their type.

Speaking of Murphy...you have a very good point about her and Fidelacchius. Now that you say it...yeah, I could very much see it going down like that. Part of me thinks Murphy isn't as outclassed as all that, but...either way it could really make sense.

Thomas with Amoracchius? Well, he is the descendant of a king...you may be right about that as well, in the long run.

Speaking of the Swords, yet another connection between Harry and Merlin! And this one is significant. Look at how the Swords function: they're drawn to those who are the descendants of kings. And now look at Harry--descended (in the spiritual sense, anyway) from a line of wizards leading right back to Merlin. Oh, I've got your number, Jim Butcher. I know where this is leading.

And I really wonder what the original purpose of that island was. People doing their nod/wink/bitchslap routine like Harry's just laid claim to some legacy they're not sure whether they want him to have. A node of dark energy, a spirit that tangled with Rashid who knows how long ago...oh holy crap! I just realizes, isn't that the leyline that whatsisface from the very first book tapped into to do the homicidal thaumaturgy?

In any case, I've quickly developed a fondness for Demonreach, in its surly homicidal natureness. The fact that it likes Harry is just so cute!

Speaking of new friends, YES VINCE! Oh god, he's like a little baby magicless Harry! IT'S SO CUTE. Not as fond of Binder; he's a bit too much of a vicious thug for me to like him, but well, he had his moments. :)

I'm both looking forward to and dreading Harry getting more tangled with the Council. Of all the bad news in these books, little is more chilling than the thought of him getting ancient wizards on his bad side.

Yes, a very fast read indeed! Waaaah! Now I have to wait it out with the rest of you!

I honestly didn't expect Morgan to die.
Neither did I! But he didn't die because Harry failed at his mission-of-the-book, which is good, but still, OMG WHUT NOOOOOOOO! *cries*
I agree with you on your 'Morgan sticks to his guns just like Harry' character study.

Is there some joke that I'm not getting about the 'Shagnasty?' or is it just something Harry made up?

how much is simple shock and trauma. It could be that he'll be okay, but I suspect that'll get a lot uglier before it gets better.
Yeah ... I sincerely hopes that he gets 'better' ...

their breakup was the most elegant I've ever seen.
*sniffles* Yeah, I can't believe Jim Butcher made me SHIP A HET-COUPLE ONCE AGAIN GODDAMMIT!

it was good for both of them--simple, fun, and truly caring in the way of friends and shield-mates as well as lovers.
*nodnod* I think Anastasia needed that, and Harry REALLY needed that. He needs to stop having long spells without any sex. *coughs* Marcone, help me out here! *coughs*

Yeah ... I think Luccio and Murphy would have a lot to talk about ... hey, they both go by their last names a lot, too!

Huzzah for the Donut!!!!11!!!!1!!!!

"You're in America now. Our idea of diplomacy is to show up with a gun in one hand and a sandwich in the other and ask which you'd rather have." This nearly killed me.
Oh, me too! I came close to quoting it in this review/rant!

I'm really liking Lara, too. The gorgeous dangerous ones with a sense of humor are clearly Harry's type. Or Harry's their type.
Yeah ... *grinz* I LOVE Lara. And I love how she and Harry interact. It's so ... FUN. (And Harry attracts femme fatales WAY TOO MUCH. It's a miracle he's still alive.)

I ganked the 'Murphy gets Fidelacchius, Thomas gets Amoracchius' thing from other fans, but yeah, I suspect that it might go down like that.

Oh, I've got your number, Jim Butcher. I know where this is leading.
Heh heh heh ... we should pressure him into making Harry/Marcone canon ...

I just realizes, isn't that the leyline that whatsisface from the very first book tapped into to do the homicidal thaumaturgy?
Wait ... what? You mean the Shadowy guy who sent the toad-thing to attack Harry and was running the drug-and-magic-and-orgy ring out by the lake?

The fact that it likes Harry is just so cute!
He knows what's best for the Island. He is ... JACOB! *sporfles*

Speaking of new friends, YES VINCE! Oh god, he's like a little baby magicless Harry! IT'S SO CUTE.
INORITE?! *squees*

Not as fond of Binder; he's a bit too much of a vicious thug for me to like him, but well, he had his moments. :)
I have this ... THING about mercenary guys with Cockney accents ... just like with Badger from Firefly. Uh ... moving on!

I'm both looking forward to and dreading Harry getting more tangled with the Council. Of all the bad news in these books, little is more chilling than the thought of him getting ancient wizards on his bad side.
Yes! Bureaucracy = death! (Literally, in 'Turn Coat' ... *cries* Moooooooooooorgan! JIM BUTCHERRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!)

Just something Harry made up. But it's hilarious, especially when everybody else starts calling it that, too.

Heh heh heh ... we should pressure him into making Harry/Marcone canon ...

Not sure we need to...

Wait ... what? You mean the Shadowy guy who sent the toad-thing to attack Harry and was running the drug-and-magic-and-orgy ring out by the lake?

Er...maybe? I've just gone and forgotten what was up in the first book. But I think that's the guy I'm thinking of. Wasn't he out by the lake so he could tap the leyline that ran out that way?

I have this ... THING about mercenary guys with Cockney accents ... just like with Badger from Firefly. Uh ... moving on!

Hee hee! I've got a Thing about cockney accents thanks to a character in an RPG I played in, so I know where you're coming from. ;)

Yeah, it IS pretty great. *huggles him* Still, that thing was pretty dang horrifying. *shudders*

Not sure we need to...
True ... Harry strikes me as the kind of guy who wouldn't so much freak out about being bisexual as he would freak out about kissing MARCONE. Hence, it's fun to write fics about them: there's only the barrier of "I HATE you ... despite the fact that we've saved each other's lives and you don't like it when kids get hurt" to contend with.

Wasn't he out by the lake so he could tap the leyline that ran out that way?
I think so ... huh. WOW, that's ... intense continuity!

Mmmmmm, Cockney accents ... isn't that strange, that you never seem to hear WOMEN with Cockney accents, only guys? Is it like the Dwarf-thing in fantasy genres, where you only ever see dwarf MEN and never (hardly ever) dwarf women?

KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN! Oh, um, sorry. XD
*blushes* Oh, that's ok. I was asking for it.

I wasn't trying to make fun of you. It just seemed like it needed to be done. ^_^

I haven't had problems finding women with cockney accents, but that might be because I watch a lot of British TV. Dwarves, though, yeah. Totally. Terry Pratchett even makes fun of it. The general sci-fi/D&D geek community decided decades back that it was because you can't tell the difference between male and female Dwarves. :D

...there's only the barrier of "I HATE you ... despite the fact that we've saved each other's lives and you don't like it when kids get hurt" to contend with.

Hmmmmmmm, that's true. And that's really one of those things you fling at fangirls when you want slashfic...

Clearly, you're right. Butcher's asking for it!

Me too! (And in Random Book News, I bought me a Doctor Who book! It's a Doctor and Donna centric one called Beautiful Chaos and it's great! Cost a bit more than books I have been buying--I also bought White Night with it *squee!*--but it is definitely worth it!

I love the symetry of the whole book, you know, beginning with calling in Butters and ending with calling in Butters. Made me smile. I hope he survives this series and gets a nice girl (or guy, whatever floats his boat)
Me too! Butters is awesome!

WILL. That is all.)
I know!!

Thomas isn't his single ray of humanity. (Wow, that ... came out a lot harsher than I meant it to ...)
He shall help Thomas! Or damnit, if that doesn't happen...Grargh. *plots stuff for her first--of many--Dresden Files story*

P.S. BADASS SHAPESHIFTER BATTLE FOR THE FUCKING WIN!)
Oh I know! That was AWESOME. Listens to Wind is the MAN.

You and me both! But mostly there was crying for me. Much crying. (Dude I don't think I cried that hard since SS died in DH!!)
I think that I was too stunned to cry when Snape died in DH. But Morgan's death got my eyes fuzzy.

The best way to get over madness at a fandom is to write fanfic! *nodnod* Soon, I shall have TIME to do that!

As I told you it was set AFTER Turn Coat and there shall be Harry/Morgan probably...*rubs hands together* I haz plans...*cackles*
Ooooo ... I can't WAIT for those plans!

I know! Didn't it?! I was shocked at what happened with Thomas, I truly was. I mean, I was still reeling from Morgan's death and then THAT happened. Dude. WTF. *headdesk*
Yes, Thomas's admitting after Morgan's death felt like Jim Butcher was reaching out of the book and kicking me. "Ha ha, you were so excited for this book, aunt_zelda, now watch as I destroy your favorite characters!" and yet I still love him and can't wait for the next book ... speaking of that, have you ever listened to the audio books?

(lol didn't I tell you about the awesomeness at Zero, or didn't I?! XD)
In the first season of Smallville, wasn't Lex being blackmailed by this reporter who had reports of Lex going to a place called 'Club Zero?'

So did I! I expected him too, ANY of the swords, but Amoracchius would have DEFINITELY been the most fitting!
Well, there’s still time … *crosses fingers*

No not the only one! Though before I read Turn Coat, I believed that Morgan was going to take up one of the Swords, I honestly, truly, believed that.
*jawdrop* Dang … that WOULD have made sense, wouldn’t it? *growls in frustration*

I know! Those scenes were great but there needed to be MOARZ.
They were fantastic, but yes, MORE IS BETTER IN THAT DEPARTMENT MR. BUTCHER!

I know me too! Just when you think he will FINALLY have a nice lasting relationship, then...bam! *headdesk*
More kicks-in-the-gut. But very well planned kicks.

Oh he so is. Jim Butcher makes it so close to canon, we cry.
Yeppers!

Yay you loved Vince too! Oh and I SO saw there tension and stuff too. XD Maybe I'll re-introduce Vince in my story...
I ♥ Vince. It’s ridiculous how much I latched onto Vince and Binder. I was actually READING BINDER’S LINES ALOUD IN MY BADGER-VOICE! (Thank god there weren’t any actual Cockneys around to hear me …)

You and me both! I giggled like there was no tomorrow. And Jim Butcher doesn't know about us fangirls and our love of slash? PLEASE!
He knows. He loves to make us squirm.

(And in Random Book News, I bought me a Doctor Who book! It's a Doctor and Donna centric one called Beautiful Chaos and it's great! Cost a bit more than books I have been buying--I also bought White Night with it *squee!*--but it is definitely worth it!
Oooo … sounds cool! *hoarding money for so many things it’s ridiculous* ‘Pride and Predigest and Zombies’ is at the top of the list currently.

He shall help Thomas! Or damnit, if that doesn't happen...Grargh. *plots stuff for her first--of many--Dresden Files story*
There there, dear … *huggles you* We can get through this, he’ll be ok … I hope.

Oh I know! That was AWESOME. Listens to Wind is the MAN.
*punches the air* Hellz yeah! Now I want Martha Liberty and Ancient Mai to kick some ass, too!

Ah, well both did it for me. It takes a lot for me to cry. Cause I didn't cry when Cedric Diggory died (though some people said they did. *shrug*) I cried like a lil' baby when Sirius died, cried a bit when DD died (partly because of Snape and him having to go on the run and Harry thinking he was really a bad guy and all...I AM a Snarry shipper after all, lol.) and I cried like a lil' baby when Snape died. Then I cried when Morgan died pretty damn hard as well. I couldn't help it lol.

The best way to get over madness at a fandom is to write fanfic! *nodnod*)
Yes it is!

Ooooo ... I can't WAIT for those plans!)
Hee! I can't wait for someone to READ them! XP

Yes, Thomas's admitting after Morgan's death felt like Jim Butcher was reaching out of the book and kicking me. I thought the same thing, except I put in phoenixjustice in there. But yeah, I can't wait either! And no I haven't read the audio books yet, but I've heard about them for a long time and they're read my James Marsters! (Spike! Cap. John Hart! Eeeeee!!!!!)

In the first season of Smallville, wasn't Lex being blackmailed by this reporter who had reports of Lex going to a place called 'Club Zero?')
...Huh. *ponders this* Wow if so...eee! *rubs hands together* More crossover potential is ALWAYS nice!

Well, there’s still time … *crosses fingers*)
Yup!

*jawdrop* Dang … that WOULD have made sense, wouldn’t it? *growls in frustration*)
Yup! *growls with you* But yes, before I read TC, I figured that Morgan would recover up a bit, and take up a Sword (even if still a bit injured, cause you know how Morgan is. If that situation is there which calls for action...)

They were fantastic, but yes, MORE IS BETTER IN THAT DEPARTMENT MR. BUTCHER!)
Most definitely!

More kicks-in-the-gut. But very well planned kicks.)
I know! But yet we still love Jim Butcher and come back for more...

I ♥ Vince. It’s ridiculous how much I latched onto Vince and Binder. I was actually READING BINDER’S LINES ALOUD IN MY BADGER-VOICE! (Thank god there weren’t any actual Cockneys around to hear me …)
lmao! Well don't feel bad, because I came to really like them as well! I prefered Vince over Binder, but I liked them both! And hey! If you want to read his lines in a voice that's your choice! (but yeah, good thing there weren't any Cockneys around! lol)

He knows. He loves to make us squirm.)
And he makes us come back for more. =P

Oooo … sounds cool! *hoarding money for so many things it’s ridiculous* ‘Pride and Predigest and Zombies’ is at the top of the list currently.)
I need to start hoarding money! I want so many things too lol. But Pride and Predigest and Zombies? Wow what a name for a title lol.

There there, dear … *huggles you* We can get through this, he’ll be ok … I hope. )
*huggles back* Thanks. We shall! He WILL be okay, damnit! Harry already lost Morgan! AND Luccio! He can't lose his brother too!

*punches the air* Hellz yeah! Now I want Martha Liberty and Ancient Mai to kick some ass, too!)
Damn straight! The ladies need to represent!

I cried when Dobby died. There were some tears of anger in there at JK Rowling for all the traumasized children she affected with that death. And then I cried at Lupin and Tonks' deaths because when I was reading that bit, I actually thought it said they were standing next to the tables and ALIVE and thought 'oh thank god ...' and then I went back and read it and CRIED.

Hee! I can't wait for someone to READ them! XP
And I shall!

Oh my GOD I completely forgot that they were read by James Marsters. *dashes off to find those audio books, whatever the cost* Doesn't matter that he probably won't be reading them with his British voice!

...Huh. *ponders this* Wow if so...eee! *rubs hands together* More crossover potential is ALWAYS nice!
I'm almost CERTAIN that it's true! (And yes, hurray for crossovers! Especially YOUR crossovers!)

I know! But yet we still love Jim Butcher and come back for more...
It's like my relationship with Lost. DAMN YOU LOST! *spends entire day trying to watch and recap the finale*

'Pride and Predigest and Zombies' is actually the book! It's the same 'Pride and Predigest' book with most of the original material completely unchanged ... except that they added in zombie attacks. AWESOME.

I think that on the whole, the Ladies represent damn well in the Dresden Files, femme fatales aside and included!

Nawww *huggles* Probably! I totally didn't expect DOBBY of all people to die! And I think I teared up with Lupin and Tonks' death, cause it was like bam! Fred's dead and then BAM! Lupin and Tonks go. It was sad's all around. D=

And I shall!)
You'll have a lot to read when I'm done, because by God/Gods/etc, I am going to get a goddamn working comp and work on my fucking story! Rawr! (Teh cursing is a sign of my anger. Beware computers! lol)

Oh my GOD I completely forgot that they were read by James Marsters. *dashes off to find those audio books, whatever the cost* Doesn't matter that he probably won't be reading them with his British voice!)
Hee hee hee! Yes, me wants to listen to them, but I'm going to have to BUY them all, since my library doesn't have those OR any of the Dresden Files books. (LAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE) Oh yes, I don't care that he isn't using his British voice either, I am GETTING them. Plus! He doesn't use that accent as Cap. John Hart in Torchwood either, I believe.

I'm almost CERTAIN that it's true! (And yes, hurray for crossovers! Especially YOUR crossovers!)
Yup! And awwww *huggles you* You're so awesome. <3 I try! I mean, I never sat out to do any crossovers on purpose in the beginning, not to where people looked at ME as the crossover person to go to.

I only did crossovers like the Heroes/TDK, Heroes/TDK/Smallville/Iron Man, because I like the respective shows/movies and I wanted to have a setting to put the characters in, that and having sudden inspiration to do so. (But mostly, my mind is set on my ideas for my Dresden Files story. It will be BIG, like I said, and there is so much I want to do with it. Not being able to work on it is awful! Ugh! lol)

It's like my relationship with Lost. DAMN YOU LOST! *spends entire day trying to watch and recap the finale*)
sounds familiar to me...*glances over at Lost* It has done the same thing to me. Even when they do stuff like killing off characters I really like, making a lack of Jawyer tension the last couple of seasons and dealing with stupid characters, and coming to like characters I never expected to (Ben! Juliet!)

'Pride and Predigest and Zombies' is actually the book! It's the same 'Pride and Predigest' book with most of the original material completely unchanged ... except that they added in zombie attacks. AWESOME.)
Oooohhhhhh. Me wants to read. DO WANT. (It DOES sound awesome!)

I think that on the whole, the Ladies represent damn well in the Dresden Files, femme fatales aside and included!)
Oh most definitely! I like the fact that Mr. Butcher does that. Because I can't stand when the female is just sitting there and is helpless, and is useless and you just think "why is she even there?" but then he makes awesome characters like Murphy, Charity, Molly (she's learning!), Ivy, etc. It's awesomeness all around!

It was like Dobby's death jerked the rug out from under our feet, and Fred, Lupin, and Tonks' deaths were kicking us back to the ground.

I'm so sorry about your computer. You'd think that, with all the technology and such in this day and age, computers would fix really easy.

Yeah, James Marsters didn't use his accent for Capt. Spike Hart, and he was still pretty damn hot. I just about DIED when I found that leaked promo clip of him and Jack making out. Squeed out loud for the first time ever, I think.
*must get those audio books*

Yup! And awwww *huggles you* You're so awesome. <3 I try! I mean, I never sat out to do any crossovers on purpose in the beginning, not to where people looked at ME as the crossover person to go to.
*blushes and beams* Yay, hugs! Well, yes, you write fantastic crossovers. I'm quite fond of a my own, personally, but I've only ever done two fandoms at once, never the scope that YOU manage perfectly!

I'm STILL shocked at how they've transformed Ben into one of the most compelling, manipulative, woobie, scary, awesome, HUMAN characters on TV. How the HELL did they manage that?
I can barely articulate how much I LOVE Juliet now. And I DESPISED her for AGES. ONE SEASON made me ADORE HER.

I knowwwwwwwww. I died just from seeing the PICTURE of them making out; that was the first thing I saw, THEN the clip. The first time I ever truly squeed aloud with TOTAL fangirl-yness was when my L/Light doujinshi came in the mail. I about lost it lol. And yes, I want those audio books too. *__* And I don't usually listen to audio books either! But dayum! James Marsters + Dresden Files = !!!!

Aww thank you. And yes I really like your crossovers too! They were reallllllly good. I especially liked the Plaude that wasn't a Plaude, you know, the DW/Heroes crossover and we find out (in your fic) that Claude is really Nine. <3 And awww *blushes* I try!

I have no idea on God/Gods/Goddesses' green earth how that happened. I used to HATE Ben, like I despised Juliet at first (cause I definitely did! I slowly warmed up to her, but once I did, I was hooked!)

*huggles them all, and then Jim Butcher* He's such a great creator, Morgan-death and Thomas-destroying aside. I blame his continual Shakespeare quotations. )
He SERIOUSLY is. It's one of the best series I've ever read, hands down, going toe-to-toe with a couple other series which I adore (Obsidian Trilogy, HP series, etc...) Yes, those aside. But that's okay! That's what fanfic is for! I mean, I think I kind of said something when I said my DF uber-fic is post-Turn Coat and has some Harry/Morgan in it along with other stuff! lol.

Yes, that's the key: keep quoting teh Shakespeare and all fangirls (and fanboys?) will melt.

Isn't it awful that she could've written whatever she damn well pleased, because the whole world and their cousins were going to buy twelve copies anyway? I think she slacked off on most of it, personally. Tsk tsk.

Huzzah for computer-fixage! *crosses fingers*

I used to listen to a lot of audio books. Dunno why I stopped ... I should start using them again this summer. They're great if you can't get to sleep because your thoughts are keeping you awake.

But dayum! James Marsters + Dresden Files = !!!!
Hells yeah! It's like a crossover!

*blushes and beams* Naaaaw, thanks! Yeah, my 'Claude is Nine' fic series WAS pretty good ... *grins* I'm insanely proud of my PD/Heroes extravaganza, and glad that my House/PD one worked out so well, even if it IS one of the weirder things out there.

J.J. Abrams must have magical creator powers. Or he sold his soul. Probably both.

Now not only my dance partner, but my MOTHER are hooked on the Dresden Files! My mom called me the other day, and she's on book 1! She loves it! (Well, the first bit, apparently all the violence and explosions towards the end kinda miffed her. I promised her that they keep getting better and better. And really, they do.)

Definitely going to be fixed within a few days. All the parts are here--just waiting for it to get put together now--my friend Des' boyfriend is busy often so it's took a bit longer. But it'll be worth it. His boyfriend is nice enough to fix it for me.

I loved it! And I loved those PD crossovers as well! And hey, weird is good! XD *stands proudly* And there are some weird crossover (I'd know! ^_^;;;) And there are other House crossovers as well. Like this House/TDK crossover I found on batmanjoker (and it's actually very good--and rather addicting--)

J.J. Abrams must have magical creator powers. Or he sold his soul. Probably both. )
I'd say both lol. Either way, he is made of all kinds of awesome and he needs to keep up with what he is doing/will be doing.

Harry/Morgan? WOOHOO! *dances*)
There needs to be more of the pairing out there! And I'm still figuring out stuff on my uber-Dresden Files story. Like the pairings and stuff. Mostly because of one scene that I have planned for the story. It's one I've had in mind since planning out the story.

Good! I've missed you dreadfully, but while you've been away I started a fandom of my very own and then Linkara and Marzgurl and Benzaie found a fic I wrote about them!

It is all kinds of awesome. lol maybe I'll write a fic where Cap. John Hart is caught by Jack reading Dresden Files aloud or something. XP
HEE! That'd be awesome! Breaking the ... fifth wall?

Yeah, I think I read the first of those House/TDK crossovers ... you wouldn't have a link, handy, would you? I haven't the time to track those down again, being busybusybusy with the play.

I'd say both lol. Either way, he is made of all kinds of awesome and he needs to keep up with what he is doing/will be doing.
He must have AWESOME charts on all the walls of his house ... and the ceiling too!

A lot of my friends say 'awesome-sauce.' I think I've even said it a couple of times. Hee!
You're welcome! (Yay, hugs! *grinz*)

I am so excited about your Dresden Files story! Eeeeee!
