Is it just me, or was Michelotto killing that guy in season 2, episode 4, incredibly homoerotic?
I mean, he got all close to him and I thought for a wild minute he was about to kiss him, then he stabbed the guy and looked on the verge of tears or something, and the guy was groaning in pain as he was dying and Michelotto just kept his head on the guy's shoulder ... um ... is that like sex for Michelotto? I mean, two episodes ago he said "Tell me about love, Paulo. I know nothing of love" and yeah he's had sex with at least one woman that I can remember but that was for information and he killed her midway through the act. This killing-a-guy-homoerotically (I didn't even know you could do that) scene, taken into account with the infamous whipping scene from season 1, is making me think that the show is hinting that he might be gay. You could make a case that he's just a sadist who doesn't really care about who he's dealing with so long as he gets to kill people ... but I dunno, that stab-a-guy-and-lean-on-his-shoulder-while-looking-angsty-about-being-closeted scene was rather suspect.
Anyways, catching up on The Borgias, should be unpacking and sorting my books, would rather watch The Borgias and eat tomato sandwiches.
