Weird dream and NADWCon!!!

aunt_zeldaHad a weird dream this morning, in between waking up with a dry mouth from having a stuffy nose (worst. feeling. EVER!!!)
After a long weird series of events and locations and possible video game levels (WTF, I don't even play video games, except when my boyperson insists and I end up failing epically and just enjoy the music while he kicks all kind of ass) I was in this hair salon with my mom and there were these creepy robot zombie minion things staggering towards us. And this Faerie impersonating a student driver my mom was going to take for a ride. We scared it away with a metal spoon. (Logic … kinda. Well, the most logic you're gonna get from my dreams.) Also, Snape and Mad Eye-Moody were in the back of the salon, but they were versions from some bad parody movie. This guy who wanted to take me on an epic quest showed up in a jeep (he'd inadvertently led the things there.) I told him (and this other guy in a car who was suddenly there) to attack the pirate zombie things with their cars while I packed. My mom gave me all these sugar pills and tylenol and stuff in little containers and I grabbed my coats and backpack and shoes and the cars had taken care of the minions for now and I threw my stuff into the car which was now being driven by my boyperson and this other guy was in the backseat and we drove off and "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing" was playing. And then I woke up. WEIRD.
I have registered for NADWCon. I know it's silly. I know this means I'll have to work a lot this summer to make the money, and make up for the lost work-time I'll be spending at the Con. I'm still going, and it's going to be totally awesome!!!
I've never been to a Con before. I'm kinda nervous. Well, I'm VERY nervous. But I'm also very excited. I'm going to get a book signed by Sir Terry Pratchett! I'm going to go on a trip and get dressed up and meet oodles of geeks!
Speaking of that, I need to compile my first official cosplay! Awesome!
