So ... Ninjas vs. Pirates: TGWTG Edition ...
Am I the only one who went "awwwww!" when Doug said that in his mind the only one who could play Bloodbeard Joe would be the AVGN? And not just because they started the slash fandom, mostly because I love that they're friends and collaborate and stuff. I can't explain that. Moving on.
Other than the awesomeness of a band of Evil TGWTG Dopplegangers joining together, becoming ninjas, and fighting the TGWTG pirate team (how many fanfics were thrown into a blender for that idea?) ... yeah, it's probably good that they went with the Suburban Knights thing instead. Although, the fact that we may never get to see Doug Walker impersonating Jack Sparrow might be the most horrible fact in existence.
Then again, I find the concept highly amusing for a number of reasons, notably because last month I was thinking what they might do next year, and I thought "... boats. They'll be on boats. Or a boat. It's the only logical step, first year was a fight, second was another country, third year was the woods, next year it's gotta be a boat. I'm thinking they're all on a cruise liner of some kind and there's a murder and it turns into a murder mystery.Preferably a MUSICAL murder mystery."
(Doug Walker, if by any chance you stumble across this, you are more than welcome to take this idea for the 4th Anniversary, or the 5th, or whatever. A tiny end credit, or a shout out in one of the commentaries, is all that I ask. Actually, you don't even need to do that, I'll know when it happens and squee and point to these blog entries as proof that I'm not crazy.)
