Drabbles About Claude's Past

Title: Drabbles About Claude’s Past

Rating: R for lots of non-con and some scary stuff …

Genre: Drabble, I think. Never figured out the exact word count for one.

Pairings: Plaude, Claude/Linderman, Claude/Thompson, Claude/Kaito, Claude/Noah

Word Count: 633

Warnings: If you haven’t watched all of Season 1 of Heroes, you shouldn’t be here, you should wait and watch the DVDs!

Disclaimer: Uh … obviously I don’t own Heroes. Wish I did. Then slash would run rampant, Hana wouldn’t be an infomorph, and Mohinder and Sylar would adopt Molly!

Summary: Claude has a bunch of flashbacks as to why he’s not good enough for Peter.

My Thoughts: I worked incredibly hard to get dates and ages right. This is also probably one of the most disturbing things I’ve ever written. And yet it almost borders on crack in some places … I’m just WEIRD. The last part was revised about two thousand times and I’m still not sure about it …  inspired by  [profile] ola_sw's  drabbles ... mostly the Linderman/Claude one ....

Claude is 43

I don’t deserve you.

That’s what he’s thinking as the boy kisses him.

I’m old, I’m broken, and terrible, terrible things have been done to me. Just by touching me, you’re being poisoned …

Claude is 16

He’s been in this cell for a long time. If meals are any judge – twenty-seven divided by three – it’s been nine days.

This probably has something to do with the fact that he can become invisible. Maybe he’s an alien. Maybe the government is going to cut him up …

The door swings open, and a man strides in. Obvious authority.

“Get up,” the man suggests.

Claude spits at him and doesn’t budge.

The man chuckles, kicking Claude in the groin and dragging him up. “Spirit … nice … I can break that …” and suddenly his lips are on Claude’s, his fingers are in obscene places and god this man is old enough to be his father and …

He doesn’t want to remember more, but he does.

Claude is 21

People at the Company achieve their desires through blackmail and threats, but as Claude has nothing to be threatened by, he decides to take matters into his own hands for once.

“Do ya want ta shag me?” Claude snaps, shutting the door and glaring at Thompson. “You’ve been lookin’ at me funny for weeks now; just bloody get it over with.”

Thompson grins in a disturbing way. “How do you feel about handcuffs?”

Claude glowers.

Claude is 25

Kaito Nakamura grabs a hold of him after a meeting. “Please accompany me to my hotel room,” he says in a way that makes it very clear that Claude does not have a choice in the matter.

Why is the whole bloody Company obsessed with me?! Claude wonders wildly as the Japanese man drags him off in a vice-like grip.

It’s not that bad – it’s actually almost pleasant – but as Linderman and Thompson precede Kaito, Claude’s not so sure he’s a good judge of such things.

Claude is 28

When Bennet starts following him around like an annoyingly overenthusiastic puppy, Claude realizes that younger men must be the way to go. Older men are twisted, dominating, ready to take what they want regardless. Well, Company Men are, at least.

So after a successful mission involving a levitating man, Claude and Bennet go to a bar, where Claude gets Bennet spectacularly drunk.

“Would you think I was being very rude,” Bennet slurred. “If I said you were incredibly sexy?”

Claude grins. “No, not at all,” he leans forward, feigning innocence. “Actually, I think it would be very rude if you didn’t fuck me back at the motel.”

Well, Bennet certainly didn’t want to be rude.

Claude is 43

Older men are sick and wrong and younger men betray you. Women are unattractive, vain, and strangely eager to fall into Claude’s uninterested arms. He had just accepted his fate of being alone for the rest of his life when Peter came.

Young – the age gap is huge compared to Bennet’s – desperate for approval and amazingly beautiful.

Innocent want shines in Peter’s eyes when the boy breaks away from the kiss.

Before Claude can decide whether to kiss the boy or hit him, Peter rushes forward once more; warm little hands exploring all over, eager lips and hot breath … such a lovely creature can’t possibly want him – so old and wrong …

The thought of ruining this child – becoming Linderman and Thompson and Kaito all at once, is too much to bear.

So Claude shoves Peter back, snaps angry denials even though he can tell the boy’s in his head and knows perfectly well how he feels.

Broken … I don’t deserve you … you’re too perfect … leave me alone …

And Peter does.

Oh, that hurts.

He doesn’t want to remember more, but he does.

Nicely understated way of telling the story.

Well, Bennet certainly didn’t want to be rude.

*g*

Older men are sick and wrong and younger men betray you.

That reads like the start of a poem :)

Really liked this, even though it hurts.

Oh, that hurts.
*hands you a band-aid*

Nicely understated way of telling the story.
Thanks, I rather like it.

*g*
I know ...

That reads like the start of a poem :)
You know what you just started me doing? Writing a damn cracky fic where Claude reads poetry in those odd places where you read poetry ... I'll add it into the semi-serious fic where Claude is in a Gilbert and Sullivan operetta in New England ... haven't worked on that in ages ...

Really liked this, even though it hurts.
Um, good?

*sticks it on Claude*

Um, good?

*nods* Good.

I am not a Plaude fan BUT I really loved this esp. the scene w. Claude n Bennett - Awesome! and the end was really sad and touching and beautifully done.

Fantastic!

Thank you! (I love converting non-believers!)

Fantastic!
Doctor Who quotes are lovely! *grinnage*

Sorry? *huggles my spouse* Yes, sorry!

You are forgiven! It was a good kind of heart-break. I think :)

Oh, dear. This has been a very gloomy night for me.

Loved young, freaked out Claude.

Why is the whole bloody Company obsessed with me?! Claude wonders wildly as the Japanese man drags him off in a vice-like grip. - Well, who could blame them, really?

This, though:

The thought of ruining this child – becoming Linderman and Thompson and Kaito all at once, is too much to bear.
This was my favorite line.

Good job!

Oh, dear. This has been a very gloomy night for me.
Sorry dear ... *pats you on the shoulder*

Loved young, freaked out Claude.
Me too, I'll do more with him someday ...

Well, who could blame them, really?
Too true!

This was my favorite line.
Thanks, it took long enough to fix that blasted last bit ...

Good job!
Thank you!

(Btw, the cake icon is because I'm engaged to xmen_geek, and hoping that c-quinn will marry us!)

Sorry dear ... *pats you on the shoulder*
Thank you, you're sweet. After breaking my heart and all.

Me too, I'll do more with him someday
Can't wait! A nice twist on him, isn't it?

Thanks, it took long enough to fix that blasted last bit ...
It's always those parts that turn out the best, though. Actually, it's not. Most of the time, it's the parts that I completely BS that people like the best. Go figure.

I'm engaged to xmen_geek, and hoping that c-quinn will marry us!
Congratulations! Am I invited?

[identity profile] aunt-zelda.livejournal.com 2007-08-24 06:56 am (UTC)(link)
Thank you, you're sweet. After breaking my heart and all.
I'm odd and kind like that.

Can't wait! A nice twist on him, isn't it?
Yeah. We see the angry, snarky Claude on the show, but the scarred, angsty teen is not delved into much ...

Isn't it odd how things turn out like that?

Thank you! Yes, of course you are!

I'm odd and kind like that
Well, that's one way of putting it.

the scarred, angsty teen is not delved into much ...
Or at all. Mores the pity, there. Hear that, Mr. Kring? Young Claude FTW.

Isn't it odd how things turn out like that
It is...part of me kind of figures it's because I don't overthink them and just kind of let it flow, or something.

Yes, of course you are!
Yee! I'll get my party dress!

There should totally be a spinoff series about young Claude and the Company in its early years ... angsty teens! Yahoo!

Yay!

I dunno...that sounds more like something the WB (or what is it now, the CW?) would do...

BTW, almost finished Stardust! Is it just me or did everything wrap a little quickly? I liked it, just...it all ended too fast.

As long as it was done, I wouldn't care! (Then again, weren't they supposed to do a 'Ripper' series about young Giles ... grrrr they didn't!)

The ending was a bit fast, but I liked it. The movie does the ending differently ...

Aw. This was both disturbing and tender at the same time.

[identity profile] aunt-zelda.livejournal.com 2007-08-24 04:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Umm ... that's what I was going for? Quite frankly, I just had all these visions of Claude's disturbing sex history and then how he thinks he's not worthy of Peter ... and it just worked ...

(What's your icon of?)

[identity profile] forsquilis.livejournal.com 2007-08-24 04:56 pm (UTC)(link)
I just want to give Claude a big hug. Poor baby. :0(

And my icon is from the Veronica Mars pilot. She's actually giving the thumbs-up sarcastically, but it's the only thumbs-up icon I have, so I use it when I mean thumbs-up enthusiastically. (Also, all my other icons are Mylarrific, which...just didn't seem right for commenting on this...)

[identity profile] aunt-zelda.livejournal.com 2007-08-24 05:14 pm (UTC)(link)

Dee down, we all do.

(Also, all my other icons are Mylarrific, which...just didn't seem right for commenting on this...)
Sometimes I use Mylar userpics ... I've never seen Veronica Mars, is it good? Isn't the actress going to be in Heroes?

(What's THAT icon of?)

[identity profile] forsquilis.livejournal.com 2007-08-24 06:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Hee! That icon is Sarah Jane Smith, who traveled with the Fourth Doctor and was the Best. Companion. Ever.

You should watch the first season of Veronica Mars--it's probably the best season of TV ever. Just promise to watch at least the first 4 eps--the pilot is exposition-heavy because it has to set up a lot of plotlines, and the second ep has...um...Paris Hilton. So people sometimes want to give up after that. But the third ep is the first really good one, and the fourth one finally shows the late Lilly Kane, who was made of awesome.

She looks the part! (How does she beat Jack? I find that hard to fathom ...)

It's probably on my netflix list ... Paris Hilton? My god, those poor producers ... glad the show ended up good, though!

Well, she and Jack are different kinds of awesome. And I've been watching her kick ass since I was 12, so I've got a lot more emotional investment in her... :0)

Ah, someday I'll watch ALL of Doctor Who ... and then I'll compare the two ... she look like a lot of fun to have around ...

And I've been watching her kick ass since I was 12, so I've got a lot more emotional investment in her... :0)
Wow ... how does she kick ass?

[identity profile] forsquilis.livejournal.com 2007-08-25 04:33 am (UTC)(link)
Wow ... how does she kick ass?

She's just all-around awesome. I quote from Wikipedia:

As a companion, she is confident, inquisitive and possesses a sharp mind as well as a sharp tongue. She is also something of a feminist — in her first appearance she is infuriated when the Doctor asked her to make coffee, and she often verbally spars with fellow companion Harry Sullivan... Sarah never gives the impression that she is less than capable. In spite of the dangerous and frightening situations she often finds herself in, she loves adventure and risk, and in spite of her outward complaints, is always thrilled to go off in search of more adventure.

I would be too! That's pretty damn nervy of him! (Though I'd do pretty much anything Nine asked me to do ...)
*must watch the earlier DW seasons*

Am I the only one here who wants to give Claude a big hug? Seriously. Poor baby (even though he is old enough to be my father (o_O)) I just wanna give him a big giant hug.

Werewolves (and Claude!) need hugs! I'm writing a fic where Claude's a werewolf ... two or three, in fact. One is a crossover fic where Claude runs into Lupin and Sirius and Peter are chasing them ...

*huggles nonexistant Claude plushie*
*finds Nine and gives HIM a hug*

♥ amazing as usual.
Can I do no WRONG people?! *shakes head* Ah well ... *blushes and beams*

Thompson grins in a disturbing way. “How do you feel about handcuffs?” made me lol.
That just ... came out. Very odd ... I read a disturbing fic involving Mohinder, Thompson, and a pair of handcuffs recently ... that probably spurred that line ...

(Like the new icon?)

Firefly is awesome.
*worships Joss Whedon* I don't believe the sci-fi community will ever recover from that blow ... evil Fox! *whaps them with Kayley's umbrella*

But then Claude comes back, right? Right? Because that was sad enough without the unhappy ending.

Anyway, beautifully done, loved every single one, as disturbing as they were.

Um ... I honestly don't know ... make up your own ending! I'm sorta leaning towards the 'Claude leaves and never comes back' idea ... as depressing as it is why would he come back if he believes by loving Peter - which he's certain he couldn't do right at all - he'd ruin him?

Anyway, beautifully done, loved every single one
*blushes and beams*

as disturbing as they were.
Well, disturbing was needed ... this is about as freaky as I'll ever get I think I mean ... pedophilia and kinky Thompson's handcuffs and Kaito ... I really overloaded here ...

Linderman HAD to be a scary pedophile JUST ONCE. I don't know why ... like Thompson is always sick and twisted ...
