What Aunt Zelda Thinks: Heroes Season 2, Episode 7 SPOILERS!

(Recently I was put on the meanest list on a ‘nicest and meanest users on IMDb’ which shocked me. I come off as mean because I run into so many homophobes and people who call slashers horny nutters. I apologize to anyone I offended.)

 

 

Happy belated Guy Fawkes Day, all!

This episode ROCKED MY MISMATCHED SOCKS! It’s definitely the best episode of Season 2 so far … despite the absence of Sylar … which I didn’t even realize until the end …

 

*the things I scribble down last night while watching*

 

Last Week: plane ticket, Montreal, Adam Monroe, next year is the Appocolypse, freaky-evil-dream-Matt-daddy, Bob is gonna die, Nessica is Mohinder’s partner, Kensai double-crossed Hiro, stupid West, HRG went SCARY EVIL!

 

Awww, poor Sarkie … his girlfriend chose HIRO over HIM. (Seriously, what’s up with that? I mean, Hiro is sweet and nice and noble, but so was Kensai for a while. And given the choice between Hiro and Good!Kensai I’d pick Kensai. That accent just slays me, and if HE loved ME I’d do practically whatever he wanted.)

 

Utto, the evil paintings of DOOM (Kaito-Death, Nessica-Wall-Bash, Mohinder-With-Gun-and-bandaged-nose, hand-with-vial, HRG-Death-and-Claire-kissage, Kensai-Hiro-Fight, and Peter-in-the-future. One seems to be missing. Goddamnit …) TOLD YOU it was MOHINDER with the gun! Idiots … everyone seemed to think it was PETER or SYLAR … was everyone BLIND last week?!

 

Trouble at the Company … they could be Daleks: E-vac-u-ate! Ex-ter-min-ate! Ex-po-si-ate!

 

Pigeon sighting! *counts these things in hopes that Claude will return* Utto, Appocolypse Now … again … some more … in the Heroes-verse. At least in FYG Peter was hot and badass and not dragging around an annoying girlfriend …

 

I love that ecomagination.org commercial with the sea wind in a jar … it’s so cute …

Oh god, I’m dizzy … is that Angela’s power? Memory-restoration? Opposite-Haitian? Or did Peter just read her mind?

Caitlin’s stuck in the twisted future and Peter is stuck in the equally twisted now *slashers reveng’d* Ok, I admit, Caitlin was beginning to grow on me in a way 12 episodes of Simone never managed, and she certainly doesn’t deserve being stuck in a future that equally certain death, but perhaps the show is trying to tell us that Time Travelers shouldn’t fall for redheads (Caitlin and Charlie.)

 

Yes! Hiro = Kensai! Just like we all thought all those months ago!

*wibbles* Oh dear, my eyes got a bit wet at the Hiro-Yaeko separation. Hiro deserves to live happily ever after with a princess …

 

Mohinder has a bandaged nose … utto … oh, and Nikki might die … how … sad?

*laughs hysterically* Kensai = Adam. I was RIGHT! Muhahahaahahahaahaaaha … *scares cat* David Anders is so HOT … unfortunately the writers’ strike can’t do anything about that …

 

Next Week: Apparently all our questions about the season 1 finale will be answered, mostly the stuff to do with Peter. I’m hoping this involves some smacking around of the annoying empath. Also stuff to do with Sexy Sark/Kensai/Adam (need to find him a name …) Also !SYLAR! whose absence this week was the only mar on the best episode so of Season 2 (at this date.) Apparently ‘Elle’ is pronounced ‘El-’ not ‘El-eeee’ like I thought. I’m prepared to call her ‘El Diablo’ if Kristen Bell doesn’t stop this ridiculous ‘Maya + Sylar = Mylar’ comments …

 

(Btw, seen the graphic novel yet?! I squeaked and hugged my friend. It’s REALLY tragic! Nothing to do with Caitlin thank god …)

That's because that's what Sylar's ability is -- he intuitively knows how things work. Other people have to work at learning control, just like they do with any other skill. He gets a mental shortcut to it :)

I think it works out more along the lines of Peter's the most powerful in raw power, and Sylar's got more control. Sylar also can't take more than one ability at a time, while Peter could absorb a whole heap if he was around enough people.
