Barefoot: Great way to start off the drabbles. I thought this was really cute, and I love the idea of Claire and Monica because it’s such a cute, fluffy ship. I think you should give yourself more credit in writing femmeslash because you have a knack for it and I hope you keep writing it in the future ;) Need: Angsty Mylar! This one is great because it includes characterization, emotion, and the hurt/comfort technique which I think you handled very well. I like that, at first, Sylar wanted to emotionally kick Mohinder while he was down, but then he stopped and helped Mohinder grieve for his loss. I also like that you revealed that Sylar hadn’t killed Molly (because that would just be horrible!) and the last few lines really added a depth to Sylar’s psyche that I think is always there, but is something he would never admit to himself: he needs Mohinder, and without him he feels incomplete. Heal: Ah, some Kiro! I think this one is flawless; I love that you expanded on Hiro’s feelings for Adam and that you explained that he second-guessed himself and took Adam out of the grave. Your take on what would have happened to Adam is also very interesting; that he wouldn’t just sit there in the grave, but he would keep dying, over and over again from lack of oxygen. Chilling, but I thought it was a great twist. I like that Adam was under Hiro’s bed. At first, I thought this was a dream, and maybe that was your intent but I took this as a future AU fic – you know that I have a massive fixation on those, lol. Again, I really like this one. I hope you write more of this ship in the future. Carpet: You gave so much background information on what happened to Claude and the relationship between himself and Peter, but it was done in just a few paragraphs, which I found impressive. I really like the bit at the end when Peter puts the blanket over Claude; it was a good way of showing how Peter feels about his mentor. Shinbones: Ooh, I really wanted to see something happen between Claire and May on the show; luckily you went with it in this drabble! Short, sweet, and all around very well-written. Undertones: You weren’t kidding when you said that you used Molly for your angst outlet! I like your characterization of her, how you got into her head, and how you made her seem externally fine when she’s thinking so much about different things. The crayon snapping in half at the end is a good visual, great way to end the drabble also. Mirror: This is awesome, because I love the never-ending parallels between the characters, and I like the experimenting with Claude and Adam here. You really do get all of these characters, and I admire your ability to write for ships other than just Mylar. Underneath: Great visual of Hiro trying to hold his breath; I love the theme of numbers and how you related them to Adam dying. This one is really chilling, but it’s also one of my favorite drabbles. Death: LOL, I’d always wondered why people called it “the little death.” I liked this one, purely because of the straight up Mywalker crack. Great job! Sensitivity: Oh, I love Claude. And although I ship him more with Bennet than Peter, you make it work well in these drabbles; this one was especially entertaining and cute. Faulty Reasoning: I feel really bad for Hiro in this one *pets him*. Poor guy, all this bad stuff keeps happening to him :( However, I do like how you tied in the death to destiny and you gave this a very dismal tone, which I don’t usually associate with Hiro. There’s a loooot of potential for angst with that guy, and you helped me realize it in these fics. Frankenstein: This one made me LOL simply because of the image of Molly making Frankenstein look like Sylar. I like the bit about her drawing comic-books at the end as well, and what else she had drawn. Rolex: Hmm, this is an interesting take on the Mylar by seeing it through Molly’s comic. I like how this goes along with the previous drabble and how you gave them different nicknames in the comic. Very meta, IMO.
