"Rose" is the very first episode of the new series. It's also one of my favorites (if I can just *fast-forward* through the "Mickey gets eaten by a garbage can" disaster- that scene nearly made me not watch again, but I *loved* the main character (hey, I'm American, we didn't have Doctor Who!), and thought the actor was phenominal, so I tuned in the next week *just* to see him! Sooo glad I did!). And now I am obsessed. Ahh... good times, good times.
